Okay, so we have to start off by talking about the VMAs. We're gonna break that down later on in the show. So last night the MTV Awards happened, and this would have been a big event 10, 20 years ago. No one cares about the VMAs anymore. MTV is a dead brand. Keep dragging it around. Nobody even knows who's nominated. You barely know the performers. They used to be a huge award show, right? The BMAs were massive. You would know who was nominated. You knew who was going to show up. Nowadays, there are no stars. There's no interest. It's really bleak. I think everybody now is on their phones and music has become so transactional. And so we're going to discuss the BMAs. Taylor Swift did show up. She showed up to collect her participation trophy.
They actually invented a new award for Taylor Swift. It was apparently some director's award because she's an amazing director. But they invented this, and even the producers of the VMAs said this wasn't our idea. It came from an outside source. But Taylor Swift is never going to miss the chance to show up at an award show and act shocked for an award that she probably campaigned for and paid for behind the scenes. Scenes and Taylor Swift is someone who has gotten a lot of attention the last few days. If you follow me on social media, I was posting about it. I did a video that got a lot of views. It got a lot of comments. People are very heated. You can discuss politics, hot button issues, but if you discuss Taylor Swift and her new music and you dare to say you don't love Taylor Swift's new music, all hell is gonna break loose.
So we're gonna break that down. I have a lot of thoughts about Taylor Swift and maybe this arrested Development, this perpetual adolescence she seems she seems to be in. She doesn't seem to want to grow up. And some people think that's great. She's appealing to her teenage fans. But there are a lot of women who say it's time to grow up. Take pointers from Adele, take pointers from other artists. You can evolve. You don't have to make music like you're 15 anymore and stuck in Neverland. So we're gonna break that down. And then of course. We have a big royal roundup. So we have the latest on Earl Spencer, Princess Diana's brother. He apparently warned Prince Harry about marrying Meghan Markle, which is interesting because now I feel they're all thick as thieves.
So we're gonna break that story down. We also have a story about Prince William and how he does not want to participate in any Diana documentaries. He's not interested, he doesn't want to do it because he has morals and a heart. And he's not a fame-hungry grifter like Prince Harry or Meghan Markle. And then we also have to discuss after we finished filming last week, we had the teleprompter fail video that went viral. So Prince Harry, I'm sure you saw this online. Prince Harry was speaking at the Clinton Global Initiative and the teleprompter stopped working. Or as my folks in the UK say, the auto cue, the auto cue stopped working and he was stunned. He was starved. And basically ran off the stage like a scared little boy.
So I'm gonna break all of that down. And then we have a story about Naomi Watts and some other folks. So we have a jam-pack show. I wanted to come back Monday and really knock it out for you guys because when you tune in, you deserve for me to leave it all on the court. So we have all of that and more. But right now we have a quick 60 second ad like usual. And then we are right back. Fall is officially here, and if you want to feel your best this season, not just live off sugary lattes and pretend that counts, it all starts with your gut. I used to think that being bloated every day was normal, but once I focused on gut health, everything changed for my digestion, skin, and hair.
