There's a lot to chat about. I was in the stadium. We had a little platform outside. Did the pre-game stuff outside and then went into the stadium. I have to say, I think... Majority Argentina fans, if I'm being totally honest. It's not a huge distance for them to travel. Spain, yeah, well represented. No trouble at all, really, till afterwards. I had great rapport with the Argentina fans the whole way through. There was a couple... Just at the end, they went a little bit too far. But that's only two, the whole day. So I thought that was good. I got the family there. They went to the game, which was fantastic. Didn't like the way the game panned out, if I'm being totally honest. I've got a lot of admiration, a lot of respect for Argentina, but I think they let themselves down today.
I think they let themselves down the way they played, the tactics they employed, I thought, the first half. They didn't really lay a glove on Spain. They just came to defend and see what they could get. Messi was quiet. Really quiet. Messi was really quiet. Yeah, I think right up until, I think it was the last five minutes of the 120. They let themselves down with Enzo Fernandes. I thought, you know, his sending off was ridiculous. And I've got so much respect for Argentina. This isn't sour grapes. They've let us... You know, we've gone out to them, so now I'm angry and upset about it. I just thought the tactics, you know, like the way they were rolling around, the way they were, you know, fouling, it all kind of comes to a head with the antics after the game.
And I'll be honest with you, it left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth.
We actually didn't see a lot of that on camera.
