Yeah, thanks to Silver Fern and North Shore Rugby Club as well who donated all their all their old um junior kit as well. Um I did have six checked in items uh on the plane. Um, may have told a small white lie to the lovely lady from um Fiji Airways when she weighed one of my bags and it was nineteen kgs and she said, Are all the rest of them the same? And I went, Yep. Uh They were between twenty six and thirty kgs. Uh, but it was for a good cause. I lied for a good cause. Um so yeah, we're hitting two primary schools today, um, two local primary schools, um, to hand these out. So it's gonna be good fun. But I do have to inflate a hundred and fifty balls with a hand pump, which is gonna be interesting.
Now, I'm assuming that you're uh you're banned from attending primary schools. Is that only New Zealand primary schools? You can go in Fiji.

Um it was a long play 'cause I knew I was having to visit these primary schools in Fiji. And the last thing you want is um, you know, a middle aged white guy with a big mustache pestering around the local Fijian school. So, um, hence I've gone for the more kind of uh less guilty looking beard. Yeah,

No, not a lot of time for pool side action to be honest. Um, Tony, um and Isaac. We've been we actually got off the plane, we went just straight to the Fijian and Duroa headquarters. Um, caught up with a number of those, caught up with the great man, uh Namani Andolo. Oh wow. Um he is and man, he is one sizable man. Yeah, has he just gone sideways
since he stopped playing? I mean, has he even stopped playing?
Yeah, he's out he's a he head of development um for Fiji and Drew. So we had a really good chat to him because we've got a series coming out uh it's comes out in January, um, with about Fiji and Rugby and the rise of Fiji and Rugby. Um, you know, so and we've got a bit of a a surprise uh announcement coming up in January, February around the local games that have been played here. I think um they've got a number of home games and quite a few home games against Kiwisides next year for the Super Rugby. So some exciting news there to announce soon. But um yeah, we caught up with him, caught up with a few young development players. Um spent the afternoon there in their HQ, which is a pretty mean setup. Um
Yeah, like I was saying, today we go to Cupid Primary Schools and tomorrow we go to a local club match on the on the West Coast. Um and we've got them going Greg Smith's taking us along, former Kinda I think he played for the Chiefs for a while, Greg Smith at Hooker. PG and Hooker. He's going to take us to a local um pub game, which I'm looking forward to.
