We're following the wonderful documentary series of Great Irish Love Stories being screened each Wednesday night on TG4, created by Cork's Bó Media.Conor Tallon spoke to Director Paddy O Shea about the love story between Eibhlín Dubh Ní Chonaill and Airt Uí Laoghaire, which is remembered in the stunning Caoineadh, or Lament which Eibhlín composed over her dead husband's body, and which is studied by all students for the Leaving Certificate in Ireland to this day.
