Let's do it. Uh we were talking before the show that there's there's not a lot of people that cover the Nets and cover them well. And so I would say go listen to Locked On Nets. If you really may maybe like the Nets are coming into town to with your favorite team and you don't really know what to expect, go listen to Locked On Nets. You'll it'll it'll kind of catch you up. It's it's uh a really good show. Uh let's start with What the fans are most looking forward to this season. If you're if you're sitting at home and you're a Brook Brooklyn Nets fan, like what is the thing that you're most looking forward to with the start of this season?
Yeah, this one's not tough. It's Jaegor Dilman and Mike Hill Brown Jr., that pairing. I mean, that is the future of this franchise. That's why the Nets suffered through 118 losses the past two seasons. It was to get high draft picks and to get guys who could be franchise changing talents. And while I think some Nets fans had their sights set higher in both of those drafts and they didn't have lottery levels. Luck. I think Yeagor and Michael are still two players who are very exciting. And I think that the fan base has a decent amount of encouragement, can be future pillars and future building blocks. So can Yeagor build upon his rookie campaign, which was very promising? Can Michael come in and look like, you know, probably the best guard prospect that the Nets have drafted in decades?
And how can that duo kind of play off of one another? We got glimpses at Summerleague. League, but that is definitely the talk of the Nets fan base and going to be the main storyline surrounding this season.

How did Jaeger Dioman’s rookie year shape expectations for his second season?
It was like uh like a whiplash kind of situation 'cause it was like, wait, this is not anything like I expected him to be like. Uh did you experience the same thing? Like what'd you think of his rookie season and and what can we kind of expect from him, you know, moving forward?
I did experience that. I mean, I knew that he had three-point shooting potential because I had talked to a lot of people in and around the organization who were just adamant that he crushed it during his workouts. They are saying this guy's gonna be a good shooter, if not a great shooter. So I wasn't all that surprised by that, but kind of the role reversal of him going from this extremely high volume pick and roll ball handler, you know, live dribble pass. Passer at BYU, like that was his calling card, was like best passer in the draft. That was kind of the uh the theme surrounding him. And then he gets into the NBA and he's handling the ball a lot less. His live dribble passing is you know fairly like neutralized, like he doesn't do that all that much, but yet he's this elite three-point shooter who's pushing up towards 40% on very high volume.
So it was kind of a little bit of a reverse. Of what he did at BYU, but the three-point shooting to me was almost more encouraging to see that. And while you'd like to see him get his own off the bounce and you'd like to see his passing shine a little bit more, which I think it can moving forward, the three-point shooting was the main question that I had.
