What true‑or‑false facts reveal Victoria Pelletier’s early corporate rise?

Victoria Pelletier 0:04
Welcome. Welcome to the best five-minute wine podcast with Forrest Cali.
Robin Goldstein 0:20
Okay, these are uh true or false. Just some fun stuff here. I've got uh kind of a mixture of true and uh and false. Victoria was the CO of a multinational corporation by age twenty four. True. True or false, before her corporate career, Victoria trained as a sommelier in Bordeaux. False. Uh y nope you sh went straight into corporate leadership.

How did Victoria become known as the “Turnaround Queen” in corporate leadership?

Robin Goldstein 0:45
Forget that uh Bordeaux stuff. True or false, Victoria's nickname among former colleagues is the Turnaround Queen. True. And are we talking runway or are we talking company, corporate turnaround?
Victoria Pelletier 1:00
Corporate turnarounds for sure. Did although I did I did walk on I did walk on the runway as a as as a teenager, but no, that that's for my corporate experience.
Robin Goldstein 1:09
So uh what was the biggest turnaround that you ever had while we're uh brought that up?
Victoria Pelletier 1:14
Oh I've been brought in time and time again to do turnarounds and transformations. There's you know, two.

What were the biggest post‑COVID and rapid‑growth turnarounds Victoria led?

Victoria Pelletier 1:22
There was one, it was in the context of a consulting environment, but I was working with a global organization who um had suffered post-COVID and their board mandated for them to take 30% of their workforce or operational expenses out of the business. So I helped work with a CEO and the board to engineer that. The other would be, you know, a company When I first actually got relocated to the US, it was for a company who had gone through a ending of a joint venture with a another partner, rebranded, went public, and then they acquired six companies in eighteen months. So that was pretty significant transformation in such a compressed time frame.
Robin Goldstein 1:56
Well, I guess you did turn it around. True or false, Victoria gave a TEDx talk on healthy resilience.
Victoria Pelletier 2:03
Very true.
Robin Goldstein 2:05
That was Ted X in Miami and how did uh what is healthy resilience? Just a a quick definition of that.

How did a joint‑venture breakup, rebranding, IPO and six acquisitions shape Victoria’s US move?

Victoria Pelletier 2:11
Yeah, yeah, they invited me. I was their opening speaker. The theme for the night was around resilience. Healthy resilience is, you know, recognizing that there's a way to deal with the challenge and adversity, but in a way in which you process it. You know, wearing a a shield of protective armor is not what I would define as healthy resilience. So I talk about a five five-step process to go through to, you know, be able to work through trauma, challenge, and adversity. City in a in a much better way.
Robin Goldstein 2:38
All right, we just heard you talking about uh you and Danny going to uh vineyards in Sonoma. Is there a wine named after you after your purchase? True or false?

What is Victoria’s definition of healthy resilience and her five‑step process?

Victoria Pelletier 2:49
False, I wish.
Robin Goldstein 2:51
And if you're gu if you guys are listening, I think you should uh rectify that situation right now, boys. Victoria's book, The Power of Whole Human Leadership, focuses on managing modern workers toward purpose and profit, true or false. True. Alrighty, did we miss anything? Did we find out everything that we need to be successful and to drink wine unapologetically?
Victoria Pelletier 3:16
I think there's enough there. Your you know, guests I'm sure can follow me if they want to go and see more, but I think we covered it.
Robin Goldstein 3:22
How can we follow you? Let's uh let give me your website and and uh place to find everything.

Where can listeners find Victoria’s book, website and social links for more leadership insights?

Victoria Pelletier 3:27
Yeah, one stop shop is my website, which is victoria dot com. I'm sure you'll have that in the show notes so they don't need to look up the spelling. And then if they prefer to click a link and connect with me on the other social platforms, they can do that from there.
Robin Goldstein 3:40
