Maybe it's Maybelline. Well, happy Thursday, friends. You know, Jasmine Crockett and Chris Brown was not the collaboration that we all needed for 2026, but unfortunately, here we are because that is simply the state of modern politics. I cannot believe that that is a sentence that is even remotely connected to politics, that Chris Brown is now involved, but again, here we are. But I will say the good thing is, is that this story is actually giving me the opportunity to ask you millennials a question about your cancellations. Now, before we dive into this story and I ask that question, I wanna thank you guys so much for being here. As a reminder, I'm going on tour this fall. Would love to see you there. Alrighty, so over the weekend, in case you missed this insane story, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, notorious Jasmine Crockett, she waltzed on stage at a Chris Brown concert and presented him with an official entry into the U.S. congressional record. So this is an award, and this recognition honors his career, his legacy, his contributions to the R&B and hip-hop genre, the whole thing. And here is this now viral, infamous, because it's Jasmine Crockett, video. Just watch.

to introduce this site. So I'm standing here with my representative, Ed Jones, as well as Webster, but we are here because of Chris Brown! It's almost Sunday. So I want to be clear. We've been made a joy for a night, but joy comes in the morning. And right now, we are experiencing black joy to the highest level. And I wanted to make sure we document that in the congressional records. So let's give it up again for Chris Brown.

I mean, can you imagine the founding fathers rolling over in their grave as they think about a woman who cannot walk in high heels, kind of like walking out like a newborn giraffe with her sparkle tits on full display, squawking and squealing about black joy, making a ruckus until 4 a.m. at the morning at a hip hop concert. And she's like, let's Let's put this in the congressional record. Not going on stage and being like, we're so, you know, this is just such a moving thing and you've just done all of these wonderful things. We're doing some serious ceremony and recognition. She's like, yeah, we're having fun. Boobies, boobies, boobies. Let's put it in the congressional record. Like, I'm sorry, Thomas Jefferson is going to get up out of his coffin and haunt you, woman, because this is so egregious.

And I'm not just saying that because of Chris Brown's history, we're gonna get into all of that, but just the way that this was done. Like, are you kidding me? I'm so glad that we all know that the highest levels of black joy are being at the concerts of one of the most infamous domestic abusers in the music industry. Weird. Anyway, here they are posting with the award after the concert, rubbing shoulders with Chris Brown, very happy to be there. And obviously, considering Chris Brown's history and the early 2000s domestic assaults, people were not happy about this online. One person said, oh, no, Jasmine, we were rooting for you. I wasn't. I wasn't. Another person says, girl, we supporting abusers now?
Brett Cooper 3:40
Somebody else says, I feel bad for cursing out everyone who told me she wasn't it. And then another person said, agreeing with Marjorie Taylor Greene and hating Jasmine Crockett was not on my 2026 bingo card. Yeah, here we are. And then finally, another person posted the bitch what the fuck meme. As all of this was going viral over the weekend, and I feel like I saw 15,000 different photos and angles and, you know, think pieces on X about it, I did not see one person who was happy about this.
