God, I hate it when you're in a photo shoot and they go, do like confident, like I'm the boss and it's always a male photographer and I'm in charge and like maybe do to the side a little bit and then put your hands on your hips, kind of like attitude. Give me, let's do an attitude one.
Hey, everyone, and welcome back to another episode of the Comment Section Show. Sorry, me, your fave. Everybody knows me. Who cares about me? On to the guests today. We have an iconic all-star, one of your guys' faves, and one of mine, the one, the only, Taylor Tomlinson. Oh, that's so nice. Thanks for clapping. That was really lovely. I'm not on tour right now. Needed that. Needed that so bad. Thanks for showing up now. You're a little late. This episode is presented to you by eBay. Tell me if I'm alone here, but shopping used to feel more fun. Before all the algorithm fed blah and endless sea of dupes. But I have a confession. I've found that fun feeling again. On eBay, it's not mindless scrolling, it's a fashion pursuit.
And when you score that rare sneaker or the bag you've been manifesting, it's a rush. eBay has millions of pre-loved finds from hundreds of brands backed by eBay authenticity guarantee. eBay, things people love. Oh my God, I'm so happy to have you back. I'm so excited to be back. I'm so glad you could see my amazing figure outside of the Teletubby costume.
Truly, I almost came in costume because I felt so bad last time. I was on the Halloween episode and I showed up and you like really did it. You were full-blown, was it Tinky Winky? Yes. Full-blown Tinky Winky. And I was like... fuck, I really should have done something. And you gave me some shit for it, rightfully. I did, yes. And I felt bad about it. I still do. No worries.
I still feel bad about it.
It's okay.
I think it was a bonding moment for us. It was. I should have come dressed as La La though.
Yeah, here.
Or you're just wearing the exact same, but then you come in, I'm dressed like you. And then who's flying the plane? But I'm so happy to have you back.
I've missed you. I've missed you. What have you been up to? You know what's so funny is because of social media, I just always feel like, I'm like, well, I saw you yesterday. Same, same. This is my second time ever seeing you in person. And I'm like, well, we were talking yesterday. Yes. One-sided conversation, just you talking to me. Because I've been listening to your audio book, which is great.
Oh, my God.
Thank you.
I'm honored.
Here's how I know your book's successful. It's at every airport. You know that? You're right. Every layover, I'm like, there's true.
That's true. Yeah.
It's a great cover.
I'm in a lot of Hudson's. That is true. Thank you. It's a really good cover. Real like, what do you call it? Show stopping. It is. It is. Did you have a lot of say in the cover? Yes, I did. They sent me different mock-ups because I was very particular about the design of it. Because at first I was trying to do just my middle finger on the cover. with my tattoos, which I thought would be funny. That would have been cool. But then they said like it could prevent it from being sold in stores because that's considered vulgar. So they really wanted my face on it, but I didn't want to do like a kind of picture. So I thought, oh, covering my mouth would be cool because it's like tongue in cheek because it's called loud, blah, blah, blah.
It was really cool.
And with the tattoos, like if you have cool tattoos, you gotta like, I want tattoos so bad, but I don't feel that I have the vibe for it. Really?
What are the challenges of being a comedian?
I feel like if I got tattoos, everyone would be like, really bitch you now you want to start now you want to start and also all of my ideas are always stupid and bad right like I thought it would be funny because I was talking to my friend Sophie and we were like oh we need to when we're on planes we're on so many flights we need to read we need to stop like watching Netflix and just like unless it's my special prodigal daughter yeah February 24th in case it's unless
Unless it's that.
Unless it's that. Right. But I'm like, we got to stop watching TV shows.
