Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?

0.031 - 3.597 Dan Patrick

This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed human.

0

4.579 - 7.484 Clifford Taylor IV

Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy.

0

7.564 - 23.17 Robert Smigel

Not quite. On Humor Me with Robert Smigel and Friends, me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier. This week, my guests, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an a cappella band with their between-songs banter.

0

23.15 - 28.096 Unknown

Where does your group perform? We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter.

0

28.276 - 52.245 Robert Smigel

Listen to Humor Me with Robert Smigel and friends on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged. It's the Enhanced Games. Some call it grotesque. Others say it's unleashing human potential. Either way, the podcast Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.

52.343 - 58.807 Unknown

Within probably 10 days, I put on 10 pounds. I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

58.827 - 75.713 Robert Smigel

Listen to Superhuman on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, this is Robert from the Stuff to Blow Your Mind podcast. Joe and I are both lifelong Star Wars fans, so we're celebrating May the 4th with a brand new week of fun, thought-provoking Star Wars-related episodes.

76.133 - 96.111 Robert Smigel

Join us as we tackle science and culture topics from a galaxy far, far away, such as the biology of Tauntauns and Wampas on the ice planet Hoth, or the practicality and corporate business sense of the Sith Rule of Two. Listen to Stuff to Blow Your Mind on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. A win is a win.

96.652 - 111.431 Clifford Taylor IV

A win is a win. I don't care what y'all say. Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor IV. You might have seen the skits, my basketball and college football journey, or my career in sports media. Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show.

Chapter 2: What insights does Cherie DeVaux share about training Golden Tempo?

660.187 - 669.381 Cherie DeVoe

So I had a lot of happy, congratulatory texts to me. But it's probably more for them because they bet. And I think some of them even had the trifecta.

0

669.901 - 682.217 Dan Patrick

Well, congratulations. It felt almost like a Disney movie as I'm watching this unfold. And maybe they turn it into a movie. But congratulations and good luck with the decision for the Preakness.

0

683.018 - 684.68 Cherie DeVoe

Thank you so much. I appreciate you having me on.

0

684.92 - 690.728 Dan Patrick

That's Cherie DeVoe, the trainer for the Kentucky Derby winning Golden Tempo.

0

731.377 - 747.771 Robert Smigel

Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal but encouraged. It's the enhanced games. Some call it grotesque. Others say it's unleashing human potential. Either way, the podcast Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.

Chapter 3: How does the podcast discuss the implications of the Enhanced Games?

2733.578 - 2759.692 Clifford Taylor IV

I said Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony and James Harden are probably not Michael and Kobe. They're on a whole nother level. OK, it's for scoring. But Kevin Durant, Carmelo and James Harden are the three best scores I've seen in the last 30 years. If you need a basket and you can give it to one of those guys, they're going to get you a shot or they're going to score every time. in my opinion.

0

2760.453 - 2778.442 Clifford Taylor IV

But listen, man, hey, I wouldn't trade my career for Draymond's. I'm pretty sure Karl Malone wouldn't. I'm pretty sure Patrick Ewing wouldn't. But Draymond's had a really terrific career. But to think he's on the same level with us as players, you'd have to be crazy to think that.

0

2780.184 - 2790.827 Dan Patrick

Is there a comp for Jalen Brunson? Somebody that he reminds you of who maybe played different era? I find him fascinating to watch.

0

2792.689 - 2821.501 Clifford Taylor IV

You know, I think what's fascinating about him, nobody knew he was this good. Like, when he was in Dallas, you're like, he's a solid backup. And I've said this and got some heat, because I'm not talking about LeBron or somebody like that, but Jalen Brunson has probably been... one of the all-time great free agent signings. I mean, the Knicks have been irrelevant since he got there.

0

2822.682 - 2850.05 Clifford Taylor IV

You know, they were irrelevant since Patrick Ewing left, probably 20 years. I think Jalen Brunson signing with the Knicks is one of the great free agent signings of all time. I mean, he makes the Knicks relevant. I mean, they were in the conference finals last year. I mean, and it's not like they have a great team either. I mean, so, but no, I think that's a great question, though, about a comp.

2850.39 - 2858.178 Clifford Taylor IV

But I just want to say that I think he's been one of the great free agent signings in NBA history, in my opinion.

2859.54 - 2861.562 Dan Patrick

Yeah, because he's not big, you know.

2861.622 - 2881.12 Clifford Taylor IV

He's not. He just gets it done. And let me tell you something. You know, people talk about Shea, who's amazing. If you go back and look in the last couple years, there's nobody who'd been a better closer than Jalen Bronson in the NBA. He'd been flat out fascinating to watch.

2881.623 - 2892.139 Dan Patrick

Which brings us to James Harden. I don't know what Cleveland thought when they traded to get him. He was going to be a difference maker in the postseason. There's no track record there.
