Hour two on this Tuesday. Dan and the Danettes, Dan Patrick Show. Fritzie and Dylan in the back row. Up front, it's Marvin Pauly. Yours truly, my thanks to Tony Reale stepping in yesterday. I had a one-day movie shoot in New Jersey with Adam Sandler for Grown Ups 3. I went in with only one line, as it turns out. I'm box office magic, and Sandler gave me another line, and I'm sitting. Wow. Yeah, yeah. That's how the magic happens on set. You know, once you get into your role, I'm there with Chris Rock. Maya Rudolph is also in it, and it's funny. There's some funny things that happen, and plus you're sitting. I'm sitting with Chris Rock for basically two hours. And I think he's trying to use sports analogies to help me understand things.
He'd be like, oh, yeah, that'd be like Jamarcus Russell with the Raiders. And I go, oh, okay. Everything was a... Sports analogy, maybe to help me understand something else. And I was very appreciative. And you're sitting next to one of the funniest men in the world and has a concert tour, I think, coming out next year. But Maya Rudolph. What a treat. My goodness. She just is funny. And in the moment, and, you know, playful, and Sandler would walk in and go, my, how about you do this? And then she'd do it, and they'd go, all right, a little more. Give me a little more. And then she'd do that as well. But it's all day. doing nothing, and then the last two hours of the day, that's when you're shooting. And, you know, they have the cameras, and then they have to move the cameras closer, and then they have to get close up of Maya Rudolph, and then they have to get close up of Chris Rock, and then a close up of me and Chris Rock.
It's a long time. For really, I'm on screen for maybe 30 seconds. But hours to do that. I could never be an actor. I can't imagine what it would be. Now, if you're a big-time actor and you're in a lot of scenes, I get it. I get there, and they send me to my trailer. They didn't even put my name on the outside of the trailer. It says, Mustache Dude. So Sandler, once again, gets a big kick out of me wearing a mustache. I have to wear a mustache for eight hours, and I'm just sitting there in my trailer. And it's not even a double banger. It's just a small trailer. And you just sit there. And it's not like I go, boy, I can use this time to go over my lines. It's one line. And then I'm walking around. You're in the middle of Jersey, nothing around you, big warehouse.
And then you just walk around. And then all of a sudden I started watching a couple of the different scenes. And then they break. They break for lunch. And then I'm going, oh, my gosh. So got done at around 9.30, had a little tequila, not with Sandler, but with his partner, Jack Garaputo. Went into his trailer and had a little tequila and then set sail to get back home. Yes, Marvin.

Well, you put that mustache on, and I'm a different person. Didn't even know you. No, no. Yeah. But it was fun. It's great. You know, Sandler is very generous. Here's the problem, though. There is a problem. Sandler's been doing a lot of these movies in the United States, and then he goes to another country. Well, I am in the scene where they're flying to another country, which happens to be Italy. I don't even make it to Italy. That's it. And I go, Sandman, they're going Sardinia, then they're going to the Alps.
