And I wouldn't rule that out as a possibility as part of it. I... Look, if you need therapy, go now. Don't wait until the final. I just know. I mean, Dan, have you ever been in a situation with your wife where she says, no, we're doing this right now and that there's like nothing you can say? Yeah. Maybe it's as simple as that. You know what I mean?
Like maybe like if you screw up something and not something like this magnitude, but you screw up something and then your wife maybe says to you like, hey. You're going to put that other stuff you're doing. We're going to go take care of this now. It might be like an oil change. Nothing like this with Rabel. We're going to go. This is a normal human thing. She's serious. I'm going to go.
The Brendan Sorsby, Texas Tech quarterback, he's in rehab now for gambling. Yeah. What are his options pro NFL wise? So I've dug into this a little bit like so and talk to some people I know and respect in the college level.
Chapter 3: How does Matthew Stafford feel about the Rams' draft decisions?
Some reporters who, you know, Pat Forty, Pete Thamel and buddies with and then like some people I know in the college football world. And, you know, what I've gotten back pretty consistently is it seems as if this is cut and dry and he's going to lose his eligibility. And then the question becomes, OK, like, does he go to court?
And so I talked to some lawyers about, OK, if he goes to court, could he get an injunction so he could play while it's in court? And what I've gotten back from the lawyers I've talked to is that he's really unlikely to get an injunction because he's this is such a clear rules violation. In other words, to get an injunction, you got to prove that you've got a reasonable chance of winning.
And like, because this is so cut and dry, um, there's a good chance he'd be denied an injunction, you know? And so if you're looking at this and you're him and it's like, okay, there's maybe a very small chance. I, you know, I wind up getting my eligibility back and maybe you're just chasing the money at that point. Like what I heard was, uh,
Again, I heard that the NIL is somewhere around $6 million, with a million of that going back to Cincinnati as some sort of buyout. I don't know exactly how all of that stuff works, but are you chasing that $5 million? Let's call it $5 million. Or is the better plan for you now just to go to the NFL? And the supplemental draft...
the NFL can determine whether or not he's eligible, but I mean, over the years they've let guys in who, you know, were ineligible for NCAA reasons. That's Terrell Pryor. We've seen them let guys in who were, who were ineligible, you know, to play because of, for drug reasons. Right. And that was Josh Gordon. We've seen a ton of these situations with academic ineligibility in the past.
And so like I, Like the trouble the NFL will get into in denying him entry. And this is so thorny for them because of, you know, the business that they do with all the gambling companies is essentially their trade association. So can a trade association deny employment to a guy or do they have to let the companies make that determination? The companies in this case would be the teams. Right.
Right. And then if you're one of these teams, right, so I'll give you four teams that have kept the powder dry on really going all in on a quarterback in anticipation of next year. And what could it be available with your Dante Moore, your C.J. Carr, your Arch Manning, all of those guys, right? So that's the Jets, the Cardinals, the Browns.
And and the Dolphins, those four have kind of those four have, I think, left themselves open the possibility to take one high next year. If you're one of those teams, you look at and say, let's just throw a second round pick at this. You know, do you say I mean, I've heard this guy's talent like I haven't.
Yeah, I haven't dug into it, but I've talked to a few guys who say this guy's got like real top of the first round ability. Right. So do you throw a second round pick at him and at this and say, OK, Yeah. And, you know, like if it doesn't work, we just go back into the first round next year. And then I you know, you start to kind of like dig deeper.

I don't know for sure. The Steelers don't know for sure. And I think this is just a mechanism that they can use to protect themselves in the case that he decides he wants to come back and play for somebody else. But I would say right now, if he's going to play anywhere, it would probably be Pittsburgh. Thank you, Albert. You got it. Thanks, Dan.

Chapter 6: What challenges does Dianna Russini face in her career?
Doesn't always work, but you know, it's never because lack of effort because Fritzie will call everybody, anybody. All I have to do is say Todd and he knows sometimes I don't even say it. He just, he knows to do it or Pauly will tell him to do it. Uh, but it's tricky. Um, And, you know, two reporters who I have great respect for asked me about when I interviewed Diana. And I said I would.
And then I said to them, what would you do? And they said that they wouldn't do the interview. And I said, that's fair. But there's football involved in this too. There's stories, attachments to this that are football related. Did you get information that had to do with you helping the Tennessee Titans when Mike was there? That's real. There are real stories out there.
He wasn't there for the draft. Now, once again, we tried to get him on in Vegas last year, or in Tahoe, and he didn't want to do it. That was the Celebrity Golf Tournament. But, you know, I'd like to know, did you plan your statements? Did you collaborate to have a statement that you released?
Yeah.
You know, the fact that, you know, we thought that somebody hired a private investigator and that wasn't the case. And then it was, well, it was Mike's wife. No, it was Diana's husband. There's a lot involved in this. And I think this is more of a sit down with the Today Show. Not necessarily a sports show. Yes, Dylan.
I do kind of find it hard to believe that either spouse would want to like, I mean, I could see hiring a PI, but to have those take those photographs and then leak them publicly, which reflects, you know, like I wouldn't want that if I was in their position. Like, I don't think you want to drag the mother or father of your kids publicly. Even if that is going on.
Well, the story is and it's been out there that this is kind of somebody who saw this and not affiliated with Diana or Mike Vrabel. Maybe it was somebody at the hotel. I don't know if it was somebody who worked at the hotel, but I don't think this was a private investigator. Yeah, I don't think so. Yeah. All right, we'll take a break. Last call for phone calls.
