Chapter 1: What are the current perceptions of SGA's playing style?
This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed human.
Hey guys, it's us, the Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what? We created our own podcast called Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it.
Chapter 2: Why are the Spurs considered a more likable team than OKC?
We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions. Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it, but you know. Tired and sick. Tired and sick. Listen to Hey Jonas on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy.
Chapter 3: What is Rich's two-part question about the New York Knicks?
Not quite. On Humor Me with Robert Smigel and Friends, me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier. This week, my guests, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an acapella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to Humor Me with Robert Smigel and friends on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hey, I'm Diana Maria Riva, and on my new podcast, How Hard Can It Be?, I call on my Gen X squad from Ohio to Hollywood as we navigate midlife's most fantastic BS. Unfiltered conversations from night sweats to fupas to scheduling sex. Wait, what sex?
Chapter 4: How could Jalen Brunson become the most revered Knick ever?
Is it just me, or does every woman my age want to look at Pinterest instead of having sex sometimes? Ha ha ha!
They say we can't polish a turd, but we're sure going to try. So let's get blunt with laughs, tears, or tears of laughter. Listen to How Hard Can It Be with Diana Maria Riva on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Will Ferrell's Big Money Players and iHeart Podcast presents Soccer Moms.
So I'm Leanne. Yeah. This is my best friend, Janet. Hey.
Chapter 5: What fun trivia game are Covino and Rich introducing?
And we have been joined at the hip since high school. A redacted amount of years later, we're still joined at the hip. Just a little bit bigger hips. This is a podcast. We're recording it as we tailgate our youth soccer games in the back of my Honda Odyssey. With all the snacks and drinks. Why did you get hard seltzer instead of beer?
Oh, they had a BOGO.
Well, then you got it.
Listen to Soccer Moms on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Chapter 6: What are the implications of Jacoby Brissett's contract situation?
You are listening to The Dan Patrick Show on Fox Sports Radio.
La, la, la. La, la, la.
Wiping down, bro. Got to wipe down the studio. Hey, good morning. Man. We hope you're ready for Memorial Day extravaganza with Tony Danza. Hey, my guys. Cabino and Rich in for the great.
Chapter 7: How do politics and sports intersect in today's discussions?
Dan Patrick, happy to be here. Hope you're having a nice holiday, extended weekend. They asked us if we wanted to fill in. We said absolutely to say hello to the DP audience and Get the day started nice and early. Of course, we got Danny G on the ones and twos. We got Ramsey on the xylophones. We got you, Fox Sports Radio Nation, on the phones at 877-999-FOX.
There's a lot of fun topics to get to today. There's a lot of drama.
Chapter 8: What exciting summer prize are Covino and Rich offering?
A lot of sports stories that I'm like, scratch my head about. Maybe you're just itchy. They got some bedbugs or something. I think you might have got bedbugs. I may have got something. Thanks for calling that out. The national audience, yeah. A minute and 30 into our national broadcast with millions of affiliates and people listening on their way to the beach today or getting ready, packing up.
It's true. I was traveling. I'm a traveling man like James Harden, like LeBron James. I'm a traveling man. And like Rick Nelson for the old folks out there. I'm a traveling man, and I was in Asia. I don't know if it was Asia, if it was a plane. I don't know what happened, but I broke out with a crazy butt rash all over my body. Butt rash on my body. Oh, gross. Yeah, dude.
And that's the real reason I was out all last week. No, no. I don't know what happened, but it's calmed down. But, yeah, it's good to be back in studio here in Los Angeles, live from the Fox Sports Radio studios. I'm Covino. That is Rich Blubberlips Davis. We got Danny G, Ramsey, and you. Let's go. We're going to talk some NFL today. There's a story about Jacoby Brissett.
I know, but Jacoby Brissett, it's more about knowing your worth. We're going to get to that. Yo, are you cool with teammates fighting over politics? I thought that was a no-no. We're going to talk some New York Giants. Nobody needs that. I don't think that helps, but. Do protest and sports work. Tarps off. Let's go. Let's have some fun today. We got to start with the NBA.
And I have, by the way, a really fun hypothetical that has to do with the New York Knicks. Speaking of, hope you had a New York Knicks sort of weekend. Spurs sort of weekend. Oleksandr Usyk sort of weekend. That was a BS win, by the way. Hey, maybe we'll talk some fighting, too. Love a good fight. Love hanging out with you. Let's go. So, the Oklahoma City Thunder.
By the way, how great was it watching the Spurs dominate yesterday? I loved every second of it. I'm not some big Spurs, Wimby guy. But honestly, it was a matter of one team came to play and the other one just showed up with less pressure on them, I guess. I don't know. OKC just looked flat. They just were flat from the start and the Spurs ran with it. It was a dominant game from the Spurs.
I mean, subconscious or not, there's more pressure on one team than the other sometimes. I think that's what it is. And you could say you come to play no matter what. But then how would you describe so many gentlemen sweeps in sports? Yeah, there's that lack of urgency no matter how you put it. Yeah, I mean, that's in everything in life and sports.
From the time you were doing school projects that were due the night before to trying to find a Christmas or birthday present for your girlfriend when you're a younger man. Yeah. You work under pressure. Sometimes when you have all the time in the world, you feel like you've got to cushion, even if it's deep down inside, subconsciously.
You're just not putting it all out there, and I feel like that was what you saw yesterday. That's exactly what happened. There was urgency with the Spurs. You've got to win game four at home, tie this bad boy up, make it a best of three now versus down 3-1 to the defending champs. You would have been done. Spurs look good. They look solid yesterday. I mean, they look fantastic.
