Chapter 2: What happened in Victor Wembanyama's big performance for the Spurs?
Wemby is making his presence felt. When he's on you as the main defender, you're not scoring. He has almost as many blocks as made field goals with the opposition when he's guarding them. I don't know if we've had that kind of ratio before, but that's pretty incredible with what he's doing.
He went for 27-17, three blocks, and it feels like there's more blocks than he ends up with because there's the, are you going to take that shot? Well, I was thinking of it, but I'm not going to now. Yes, Paulie. We had that stat a couple weeks ago.
What was it? Blocks discouraged by Wemby? Yeah. We need another stat for him. Rebounds while standing. Because he gets a lot of rebounds with minimal effort. The ball just comes, he tips it to himself, and he passes outlet.
It's fascinating. It's fascinating watching him.
The other NBA stuff, Daryl Morey fired as NBA GM in Philadelphia. 19 years as a GM, no titles, no finals appearance, a conference final appearance. And he was good at giving up a lot of assets to get stars at all costs. And that's the problem. It cost him his job.
I mentioned this, and I didn't have any information on this, that maybe you could get Joel Embiid and you could send him someplace like Sacramento. And then I saw something yesterday where that Sabonis might be available and Joel Embiid would go to Sacramento. I'm like, okay. I don't know if it's pennies on the dollar that you're going to get Joel Embiid. Sabonis is a really good player.
He battled injuries, but he's going to give you 20 and 10, probably six assists. And he certainly, well, I would hope healthier than Joel. I'm healthier than Joel Embiid. Yes, Marvin.
Why would anyone want Joel Embiid? I don't know.
Unless you don't want Sabonis. So I don't know the back story with Sabonis as to what happened in Sacramento other than I know that he had a lot of injuries. Yes, Mark. And B, he won't even help with ticket sales because you don't know whether or not he's going to play. Well, that'll be the big tease. Hey, come out and see. The big tease? Yes. Oh.

Chapter 3: What does James Worthy think about LeBron James' future with the Lakers?
Almost 20 and 10. Average 19 and a half and 10 and a half rebounds. He has five single digit scoring nights so far in 11 playoff games. Evan Mobley, Jared Allen, very good defenders. But if you want a max contract, oh, boy. When your backup, Paul Reed, is outplaying you, that doesn't bode well for Jalen Duren to get a big-time contract here.
All of a sudden, it's, hey, I'm averaging 20 and 10, and we're in the playoffs and the number one seed. I'm an all-star. Everything's great. And then all of a sudden, it's like...
Chapter 4: What are the challenges facing the Lakers next season?
Wait, what happened to the max contract I was supposed to get? So keep an eye on that if you're watching the game tonight. Yeah, Paul.
I'm looking back at the 76ers draft history. It's fascinating. Remember 2013, Michael Carter Williams of Syracuse? Yeah. He looked like he was going to be a thing for a while. He couldn't shoot. No, but he looked like one of those Rondo-type players. Then they get Embiid. Starts slow, becomes great. Then with a third pick in 15, they get Jalil Okafor, who everybody loved coming out.
Didn't work out. Ben Simmons in 16. Markel Fultz in 17. Oh, man. It gets better because Tyrese Maxey and now Edgecombe. Man, that's a tough run.
Yeah.
And I remember after that draft, now I had a source involved in the situation, and he was saying, I hope that Philadelphia will take Markel Fultz because he said the best player in this draft is Jason Tatum. And I said it on the show.
So if I'm getting information like this, like what information did Philly get where they go, you know what, we want to go up and we want to get Markel Fultz, who won nine games in his one year in college. And even Lonzo Ball was a better pick than Markel Fultz. And, you know, of course, he's had knee injuries here. But you're just thinking, are you overthinking these things?
Like, how do you whiff? You know, Ben Simmons started out, played pretty well. And I thought, okay, he's just going to be one of those guys who has a lot of rebounds, a lot of assists, and will score 15 to 18 points a game and be a good defender. Like, okay, good pick, safe pick. Okafor, that's one of those where you watch a college game and you go, that guy is great.
And then all of a sudden you watch a pro game and you go, that guy's not great. Yeah, Paul.
That draft is pretty fascinating because outside of the lottery, Bam Adebayo, Donovan Mitchell, Josh Hart, OG Ananobi, Derek White, Laurie Markkinen, a lot of really nice players.

Chapter 5: How does Wembanyama compare to other NBA greats?
Yeah. Dang. Yes, Dylan. I felt so bad for Markel Fultz when the whole Yips thing started there because I was like, Philly's not exactly the nicest situation to not pan out in of other possibilities. I had never heard of the shooting Yips.
Chapter 6: How many international NFL games are considered too many?
I'd never... Now, guys will get into routines at the free throw line because it will paralyze you. If you've never shot an important free throw in front of even 100 people or 1,000 people, and then you put 19,000, and then you have a playoff game hanging in the balance, and you're at the free throw line, everybody's yelling and screaming, and you're just standing there.
And then all of a sudden, you need movement. You need noise. and all of a sudden you get paralyzed. Yeah, Paul.
You said something the other day off air that stuck with me about, I think it was Giannis, he's really slow on his free throws, and he's actually gotten worse as his career has gone along. How do you practice those free throws and you take 10 seconds between shots?
Yeah, when I would see Sergio Garcia, like double, triple, re-grip, grip, re-grip, grip, and I go, how do you go to the practice range and practice that? How do you shoot free throws where you struggle to shoot in 10 seconds? That's where you get a quick routine. It's I would bounce left, twice, in, boom, up, go. That's it. Never, ever varied. But if you get there, get into a quicker routine.
