Good morning, good morning, rise and shine, Lemon Nation, Lemonhead. Thank you so much for joining us this morning. Welcome to the program. Happy that you're here. Man, we have a big show for you this morning. You know, and one reason that we do is, well, because of the stories that we have, but we have, let's show them. We have Charles. I can't even say his name this early in the morning, from TMZ. That's the newsroom as they're getting ready. Charles is getting ready to join us. TMZ has been really great on breaking news with this story. Andy, maybe we should get some of the reports that they have if you have time while we wait on Charles. He's a little bit later, but they've been getting some of the witnesses or at least some of the people who were there, some of the friends.
Don Lemon 0:54
And so Charles is going to join us to give us some inside information on what TMZ has uncovered in their reporting of this story. So we'll see Charles in just a bit. Let us know where you are streaming from. Also, make sure you hit the like and the thumbs up because it does affect the algorithm. More people become aware of our conversation and our channel. They have been breaking stuff, and you know we have as well. We've been on this story, as we've been telling you since the day after it happened, I believe. And a lot of folks have been following our lead, so we're very proud of our coverage. And I'm very proud of you for tuning in and for clicking on the story and your feedback. We're going to open the phone lines a little bit later on if we have some time.
Don Lemon 1:36
So prepare for that, because I want to hear from you guys. Also this morning, we're going to hear about, I don't know if you saw, there was a raucous hearing I don't want to go too far afield, too far away from this Nolan Wells story. But there was a raucous hearing on Capitol Hill yesterday for the man who wants to be the director of national intelligence. Apparently can't even admit who won the 2020 election, which I guess should be shocking. But in this day and age, it's not shocking because there are so many sycophants. in the trump administration who will go along as the senator from georgia john ossoff said with the president's delusions so we're going to start with what's been happening for 12 days this story has run
Don Lemon 2:30
On accounts, what somebody said, what they heard, just like this person, that person, this person. And a lot of the people who are coming forward are saying they have not heard from any investigator. No one has contacted them. It's been running on what somebody said, what they saw, what a mother believes in her gut about her own son. All of it is real. All of it is worth taking seriously. None of it's something that you could put on a stopwatch, put a stopwatch on, right? Because it doesn't, like, there's no structure to it. Everyone, every response, whenever I talk to someone, they say, this doesn't make sense. Wait a minute, nobody saw anything. This doesn't make sense. This doesn't make sense. But last night, for the first time, something I believe changed.
Don Lemon 3:16
I'm not sure. I think it may be helpful because it gives a timeline. When I said nothing on a stopwatch, this gives a timeline. CBS News obtained actual GPS data from the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources. That data tracks the exact movements of boats and it tracked the exact movements of the boat that carried Nolan Wells to Horn Island on July 4th. And this isn't a memory. This isn't a witness account. This is a machine, electrical recording, technological recording of location and time. And there's no opinion about any of this. So this is what it shows. that the boat left the dock at 9.56 in the morning. It arrived at Horn Island at 11.14. Normal trip out, nothing unusual. And then at 4.31 in the afternoon, the boat left Horn Island, headed back toward the mainland.
Don Lemon 4:08
Nolan was not on that boat. CBS has confirmed that separately, and the GPS data does nothing to dispute it. A report now from ABC News.
Unknown 4:22
Mississippi Department of Marine Resources releasing the GPS data.
