And also the NAACP adopts a resolution calling for an in-depth, transparent investigation. The nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney, Ben Crump, it says, will join the family of Nolan Xavier Wells at a news conference on Wednesday, which is today at the 117th NAACP National Convention. Crump will announce the preliminary findings of an independent autopsy. conducted on behalf of the family. And we know it's Nolan Wells, 18 years old. And so we can show there's a feed that's up right now that you'll see that's gonna go. And there it is in WCP press conference. It's gonna happen momentarily. And today, yeah, today is the 22nd. And that was a video that they believe is the last image or the last images of Nolan Wells and that he was on the back of a boat on Horn Island on the 4th of July and they said it was this video was taken around 2.23 in the afternoon according to the metadata. Um, and, uh, again, that's the last images they believe of Nolan Wells. And so we shall see, they're still investigating it. According to TMZ, that video, if you have the video, put it up and if not, just pull, put me up full. Um, So we have TMZ. We spoke to them yesterday. That's the still shot of it. There's the video. And so that should be helpful in the investigation. Perhaps Ben Crump today in his press conference will discuss that.
We'll talk about what this video means, if that is indeed Nolan Wells. I know that this is in the hands of law enforcement. Already, Charles and TMZ said, according to their reporting, that the investigators have this tape and they're trying to figure out if it's him and perhaps that'll help with the timeline. But, you know, for them, look, you know, folks are asking why. Are they releasing this? Why didn't they just release it already and they're waiting for so long? What does it indicate that they are taking so long to do it? And then pause it right there, Andy. One is that the convention is this week. As a matter of fact, I was supposed to be there this week, but my family is in town. And so I couldn't make it at a family obligation.
I was supposed to be there right now, finishing up a panel. So we'll see. I mean, this is a huge convention. It's the National Association of the Advancement of Colored People, the NAACP, which is a renowned civil rights and human rights organization.
