Now it's unsealed. You saw the press conference. We ran it live earlier on the Don Lemon show. We did our morning show, which is Hot Topics. We spoke all about it, all about it, all about it. Okay, so here's what happened this morning. So to give you some context, Sean Diddy Combs was arrested last night. You know he was at the Park Hyatt Hotel here in Manhattan. He was taken into custody by Homeland Security. He was supposed to be arrested in a couple of days or they were going to try to figure it out. As it turns out, they decided to do it earlier and then...
took him into custody last night he was charged with three counts of racketeering conspiracy sex trafficking by force fraud fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution now this indictment says since 2008 this goes back to 2008 that is a long freaking time to the present members of the combs enterprise allegedly engaged in sex trafficking forced labor, interstate transportation for purposes of prostitution, coercion, and enticement to engage in prostitution, narcotics defenses, kidnapping, arson, bribery, obstruction of justice. Remember he was living in Miami. He had left, when they raided his house in California, I don't think he was there, his sons were there. And then he ended up moving to Miami.
But he has been in New York since last week, his attorney said. Negotiations of his surrender had been ongoing, and a grand jury voted to indict him. His attorney's name is Mark Agnifilo. He said in a statement, and I quote, "...we are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney's Office." Combs' attorney said that the musician has been cooperating with the investigation that led to the indictment and voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. His team maintains his innocence and says he has nothing to hide. And so earlier this year, though, you need to know that Combs became the target of this month-long sex trafficking probe by the Homeland Security Investigations Agency, which led to the dramatic searches of his Los Angeles home and Miami home.
