We weren't the only times I had a shitty time. Funny you would use the word shitty. How was your procedure, by the way, Tim? So funny enough, I am a big proponent of colonoscopies. I have had one because I'm of that age now and everybody should get one. But that's not what I was doing. I know it made for some very funny chit chat at the top of the show. It's true. But I was actually in our nation's capital with many Senate Democrats and content creators learning about ways that we can, one, we can get their message out better, but two, how they could also help us.
So that's what I was doing. I missed my first episode ever. If I knew that Senate Democrats and content creators would be deciding our future 10 years ago, I would have moved to Canada. So let's just be real clear about that. I'm still right on the fence. Let's bounce. Well, that's better than the people making the decisions for the country now, right? That's true. But anyways, I heard the show was good. I saw the reactions. I kind of wanted it to suck because I wanted everybody to wish me to come back, and I didn't get any of those. But everybody, everybody over the age of 45, get your colonoscopies because you don't want to end up like James Van Der Beek.

They're the funniest things ever. I don't even know how... I had one a couple of years ago, and it was like... we're going to start counting. And I was already unconscious. People are so old. I didn't even get to 10. All three of you. Jesus Christ. I am going to get out of my nursing home when you are of age to have one. And I'm just going to laugh at you because I will probably be too old to get them anymore because there is probably have a way to figure it out.
So I don't have to get one by the time. That's true. 10 years. The worst part about it is the procedure is nothing. The worst part is the drinking things. Oh, my God. Disgusting. Oh, my God. Well, anyways, let's talk about something more fun, which is democratic infighting. Everyone's favorite. Well, it's not so much about the infighting. I think what we wanted to have a conversation about was about labels on the left. And, you know, this you see this a lot on threads. You see it a little less on other platforms, but a lot of like two different camps, which is basically moderate slash liberals and then leftists. And, you know, I understand why these labels exist and I understand all of that. And obviously we saw a lot of infighting in 2024, especially around Gaza, which I actually think the leftists were correct that that should have been labeled a genocide.
But also, no, like, you know, there's a bunch of people who said Bernie would have won in 2016, which is laughable. So, like... can't we all just get along guys? So we have a, we have the worst president. Nazis are the bad guys. Yeah. And we just fight them for now. Yeah. The thing is with labels is if, if it matters, like if, if calling it genocide means that, that countries are then legally required to change their behavior. You know, if, if when it matters, like murder is not the same as killing. Like sometimes the label does matter when it's inside of a political party, which is a private organization.
Yeah.
the second you start getting into leftist versus progressive versus liberal and neoliberal and centrist Dem and whatever, like the second you allow someone to assign a name, then you're allowing them to define that name. And if you've got two leftists in the room together, the odds that they could both agree on the exact definition of leftist is probably close to zero, not to mention absolutely anyone in this big tent party.
