Chapter 1: What were the highlights of St Mirren's tactical masterclass?
This is a catch up version of the live daily Go Radio football show weekdays from five till seven across Scotland on DAB and around the world on the Go Radio app. Charlie, you were there. We saw you in Premier Sports. I know you'd first of all want to say congratulations to St Mirren.
Yeah, first things first, St Mirren were brilliant on the day. Every single player knew their job, knew what was expected of them. They had a clear game plan, not a lot different to what they usually do at St Mirren, which was key. Iunga, Lundelu, Mandron coming on,
handfuls up top and yeah they'd done their job they scored three goals and to be honest Paul they'd 10 shots on target probably could have been They looked like the team that were probably going to score more goals. Celtic, yeah, they nullified Celtic. I knew that St Mirren would play on a counter-attack. I knew that's the style in which they play.
I just couldn't believe how little Celtic threatened the goal. And it was very comfortable for St Mirren, but it looks like I had to see Robinson after it.
Chapter 2: How has Celtic's recent form affected their management?
You must have been the most comfortable you felt against Celtic, especially in a cup final. He didn't buy in, he didn't say that's how he felt, but... That's how it looked to me. Yeah, fair play to St Mirren. They deserved it yesterday.
What were the Celtic fans saying to you afterwards?
I didn't speak to any Celtic fans, to be honest. I just had a look at the game myself and just was really disappointed with what I saw. Firstly, when the first goal goes in for St Mirren, Marcus Fraser, I felt sick for Wilfred Nance because I know how...
how disappointing that would have been after the week they've had and that goal goes in it's the last thing you need to play against a counter-attacking team similar to Hearts in terms of when you're looking to sit back and soak up the pressure the last thing you need is the team that are going to soak up the pressure to score the goal because then it gives them something to hold on to so they score that early you know it's going to be difficult and it takes Celtic to get going 20 minutes into the game they get going the intensity lifts it's absolutely brilliant
it's good play no great play it's good play till half time and then just kind of never gets anywhere after that they sit in a Celtic sort of try and play they huff and puff and don't really create many chances and it looked like a group of players kind of with a lot on their mind and a lot of information to process and it made them look kind of unfitting
Yeah, not too sure on what their jobs were and it was disappointing. It was well deserved for St Mirren and disappointing to see.
Barry, what did you see yesterday? I seen a St Mirren team that thoroughly deserved their win.

Chapter 3: What led to the resignation of Celtic chairman Peter Lawwell?
Off to a brilliant start. I thought it was a really well worked corner kick. I think it was Kylian Phillips who runs across the front post, creates that space.
Hattati's not strong enough Marcus Fraser with a great header and then that settles St Mirren down yep Celtic come into the game 20 minutes into it St Mirren seen it out one each and then I thought in the second half the tactical changes from the manager Steven Robinson were brilliant that changed the game and I thought St Mirren
ran out easily the best team on the pitch What change did you see Barry that Celtic didn't cope with? The two centre forwards went in the outside of both Ralston and Scales that stopped the two centre backs the way that Celtic wanted to play he wants his centre backs driving with the ball and he put Bacchus on top of Callum McGregor who's Celtic's
main playmaker and the differences and the changes sorry that he made at half time or the difference in the second half and I thought St Mern ran out and Very good winners at the end of the day. The manager deserves a lot of credit, but there's some of the players in that St Mirren team where a lot of people will not know of them. His recruitment has been unbelievable.
He has to change it every single summer because he loses his best players. And that St Mirren team yesterday, a lot of people say, yep, they worked harder or ran harder than Celtic. Yep, they did, but they showed more quality than Celtic. What do you feel?
Yeah, Barry's talking there about the changes they made and that's exactly how I saw it as well.

Chapter 4: What frustrations are fans expressing towards the Celtic board?
And Steve Robinson said that after the game. I just think Maeda, Celtic play four in the midfield central area, a box or whatever you want to call it, with two sixes, two holding midfielders and two number tens. And that's to overload the midfield area against St Mirren's three. Now, the detail of it is you need four players in there that are natural sort of midfielders or creative midfielders.
and Maida played up as a striker which made it three in there against three and that allowed Celtic not to control the game for long spells so small details in it that I saw whether it's Maida's natural position which it isn't he's not a natural 10 or whether the instruction wasn't given to him he kind of dropped deeper and plays more as a midfielder because when he did do it that's when Celtic did get through a few times against that extra man in the midfield area they didn't do it he locked his cell onto a centre-half and Marcus Fraser dealt with him well I just think
Celtic just looked like they had too much going on in their heads which made them look unfit at times their legs had gone I know it was the third game in a week and a real hard game against Roma the scary thing for me Paul is under Wilfred Nance so far Celtic's best half an hour was against Hearts in the first game so you'd expect it from that moment to then get better now I'm not
I know he's been in the it's been 12 12 days today he's been in the door I think a lot's happened in that 12 days and there's been a standing behind that dugout on the Plymouth right behind the Celtic dugout and seeing everything unfold in close quarters it just felt so disconnected now we know the board there's a bit of disconnect between the board the fans and the players and now there's a connection
a lack of connection between the players and the manager I can see Could you see that yesterday? I could see that yesterday between the staff and the players which wasn't there obviously under Martin O'Neill and it's you could probably get away with the board being a wee bit disconnected at times, but the minute that's disconnected, it's clear as day on the pitch.
And I just feel that, I mean, it kills me to say it, Paul, because I feel for Nancey and I feel it's really early and I can empathise with him in terms of being there as a manager, stood in that, albeit it was only at Kelly Hearts, but still in context for me, I still was obviously wanting to do well. And I know the feeling of
things not going your way so listen it's early days but I don't see how Celtic now come back from this because to convince players to believe in you and have confidence In each other and in the management team, you need to win games while you're learning how the manager wants to play. When you're not winning games, trust is really hard to get back.

Chapter 5: How did St Mirren execute their set-piece routines effectively?
He was asked, are his tactics not getting through to the players? No, not at all. Because to be honest with you, we had really good performance first half against Earth, second half against Roma and first half today. So I don't think that this is, again, I'm questioning everything. Damn, this is my job.
here in the past and so on this is our job to all the time try to find solutions but I don't see it like that the structure that we had was really interesting we were able to go wide we were able to go through the middle and we were able to attack the box but after that me this is taking care of the ball Michael what would you say Frank saying people are getting too a form of insanity he said no disrespect to Charlie but he did say he'd lost it what would you say I don't agree with Frank at all
we've got every right to be the fans that we are because we pay we pay that we pay that board's wages right at the end of the day they they have got to be accountable for this Paul Charlie and Barry right and any fans who are backing the board need to have a wee look at themselves as well okay and for me I don't think Nancy is the man. He's got no aura about him.
He just looks like a junior football manager, junior football side manager for me.
Michael, what would you do? Michael, what would you do then?
I would get somebody in, like Martin, right? And Barry, right? So basically, I would get somebody in.

Chapter 6: What tactical changes did St Mirren make during the match?
He's going to bring confidence. Because there's too many incompetent people there, OK? Paul Tisdale, for one. I want Dermot Desmond to sell his shares. I want Peter Lawwell to resign. Well, you've said that a number of times.
Yeah, Michael, you've said that a number of times.
I've got a right to say that, Paul. And I'm telling you now, the fans, they'll not come back on this, you know. They don't like the board. And the board, they want the board out.
If you like what you hear, hit subscribe and never miss an episode. The breaking news in the last hour is that the chairman of the football club, Peter Lowell, has resigned. He steps down at the end of the year, just three years after being appointed. And in the statement, which has come just recently, he said it's with sadness I announce my decision to stand down as chairman of Celtic FC.
Chapter 7: What is the current situation regarding Wilfried Nancy's management?
I believe my 18 years as CEO and three years as chairman have shown my ability to meet and overcome challenges on many fronts. But abuse and threats from some sources have increased and are now intolerable. They've dismayed and alarmed my family. At this stage in my life, I don't need it. I cannot accept this. And so I leave the club I've loved all my life. So more on that during the programme.
Meantime, interim chairman will be Brian Wilson, longstanding director of the football club and the man who wrote the 100-year history of Celtic former energy minister in the Labour government. We're always sorry to hear a chairman stand down citing threats of violence against his family. Yeah, I think the word intolerable is very accurate.
I think anyone who is prepared to threaten any other individual, I think they're a nasty piece of work and it's dreadful that anyone feels under threat like that. I live not too far away from Peter Lawwell and I've seen the stickers, the banners, the pictures that have been around the various lampposts. They've gone now, of course.
But no, anyone under threat like that, I just think it's awful and... No one wants to see it.
Chapter 8: How are fans and pundits reacting to Celtic's performance under Nancy?
Billy, it's the last thing you want to see, violence being threatened to people in football or anywhere. Never a truer statement. You just can't condone it. It's as simple as that. I don't care how or what the feeling is. Yeah, you can take a dislike to people, but to threaten them and their families is just...
that's as low as you can stoop for me there's a quote here from non-executive director and the principal shareholder Dermot Desmond he said I'm personally very sorry to lose Peter as our chairman but I understand and respect his decision in light of recent events and what he has endured I want to pay tribute to Peter for all he's given Celtic over so many years as chief executive he was the driving force of the club
and in his later role as chairman, he oversaw the board affairs. Finally, he said Peter has witnessed 38 cup or title triumphs. Should have been 39 at the weekend, but 38 cup triumphs in his time, a period of extraordinary domestic dominance. We've also competed in European football. So... What does it mean for Celtic? Because the burning issue is Wilfred Nancy.
You can't help but feel sorry for him, Andy. But my goodness, so far it's not working at all levels. The players look confused. The fans are bewildered. What do you feel? Yeah, he hasn't come across well. And I think that is a problem. And I think when you look at...
I mean, even basic things like when you look on the pitch and you see Luke McCown as a left wing back, you see Ralston as a right centre back. Forrest seems to be, was in the middle of the park. Maeda's a number 10. I don't know who's had a word with him because obviously he's got rid of his tactics board. He's got rid of his green trainers. Someone had a word with him about that.
And I think just the way that Celtic have been playing, he's obviously not made the impact that you would normally associate with Celtic. someone new coming in. And I don't think this is a vintage Celtic team, but I do think they're capable of a lot more. There are stories out there that there are meetings going on that it could be the exit already, but surely not after just four games.
It's all over for Wilfred Noncy. What do you think is happening? Well, there's a story put out earlier on this afternoon by our old colleague Peter Martin saying that Celtic in discussions to end Wilfred Nance's reign. It wasn't said if Celtic had instigated that or indeed if Wilfred Nance had instigated that.
But Celtic, Paul, quietly are denying that's the case, saying that they're very much still behind Celtic.
Wilfred Nance despite the fact last night was the fourth defeat in a row I do know that Wilfred Nance's family are due to arrive in Scotland tomorrow to come over here and settle so that made me think has Wilfred Nance instigated something on the back of last night the Celtic supporters chance against them but we stayed here on Tuesday night Paul
