And I have a theory. when it comes to just athletes in general, and I think it relates to us normal people in society, is that at one point in time, if you play sports growing up, you come to grips or you're at peace with, I can't do this anymore.
I'm not good enough. And for most of us, that happens in high school. For a small percentage of people, that happens in college. And then a tiny, tiny, tiny percentage of guys, they realize that in the pros. Remember, the average lifespan of an athlete or a pro football player is under four years. Guys that we talk about that have these long, illustrious careers, make a bunch of money, they are the outliers in the sport. So, myself, it was pretty clear at a young age, like, I'm never going anywhere playing football. And then you get to high school football, you see some Division I players, you're like, that's a different beast than myself. Right? And when you look at pro athletes, think about Peyton Manning.
