What is going on, my people? How are we doing? John Middlecock, three and out podcast. Hopefully everyone is doing well. I recorded some stuff last week when I was in Scotts. Actually, yeah, if it's Monday, probably on like Tuesday or Wednesday. I did 10 things about 10 big stories in the AFC, 10 big stories in the NFC. We'll play the AFC today, and we'll play the NFC on Wednesday. But I brought my stuff because I knew things would happen, and I definitely want to hit on Brennan Sorsby, who was kicked out of college or mutually broke up with Texas Tech. Irrelevant. He's going to the NFL. So where he'll go in the supplemental draft, what I'm hearing, I watched a little bit of him and texted around. And then we had a pretty unique moment today in golf that an American player, Wyndham Clark, who won the U.S.
Open – had homegrown fans in New York actively rooting against the guy and cheering when he fucked up. So we'll hit on that as well. And you guys know the drill. If you listen on Colin's feed, subscribe to 3 and Out. You want to watch on Netflix, hit the alert button. You will never miss an episode. Let's just dive right into the quarterback from Texas Tech. I said last week when the whole thing kind of played out and he left Texas Tech, I'm like, I think he goes in the third or fourth round. And I had watched him, and my opinion was kind of reminds me of Derek Carr at Fresno State mixed with Bo Nix when he went to Oregon. Well, think about this. Derek Carr went like the second pick in the second round, and Bo Nix was a top 15 pick.
Let's be real. Quarterback inflation happened post-Carr. If the equivalent of Derek Carr had come out, I don't know, the last seven or eight years, the numbers he put up, his physical attributes, his brother was the number one overall pick once upon a time, which worked against him at the time. I think Derek goes in the top 20, and obviously we know where Bo Nix went with Sean Payton and the Broncos.
