What is going on? This is John Middlekoff from the Three and Now podcast. And this is the best of my favorite takes, our best takes, as we head on into football season. One thing I wrote down, because I don't know why I did this to myself. The majority of Sunday morning, I had, you know, a four box going, my other TV was the other games going. And you you're not gonna if you got two TVs, you you just you mute one and you pick the audio of one of the four games. And then depending if it's time's a little off, one's at halftime, the others are not, you can switch around. But I I don't spend that much time every two minutes going audio to audio. I I just kinda stick with what I think is the bigger game or uh better announcers.
And I I just listen to Nance and JJ Watt. And my big takeaway and I wrote this down, Tony Romo's never coming back. They they clearly wanted out of the Tony Romo business before he blew like a I guess Keenan Allen was the guy that blew a two four. Tony was like a one seven. Listen, I I I'm not one to judge. Uh I I I'm not saying I've gotten a car, but I I've I I've blown in the twos in my life if you would have had a breathalyzer around me. Just having binge drinking or whatever. But like when they're looking for a reason and you get caught driving on the freeway, like they got their reason. And then you watch JJ Watt, like JJ's not like the little engine that could. He was one of the prominent star players of his generation who was extremely commercially viable, viable, right?
He he was uh I would say one of the key marketing figures, non-quarterback in the NFL for a six, seven year period. And then you just listen to him, it's like, Yeah, he's pretty good.
