Guy Haberman, I actually was roommates with him when I lived at Fresno State, and he was hosting radio shows, and I was working at Fresno State football. He went to Fresno State, and now he's living in the Bay Area. He's a young baby, 10-month-old. So we kind of had babies right around the same time he officiated my wedding. I've known him a long, long time.
He's been on the pod before. And he just spent a week in Australia. So we'll see if he's recovered. And we'll talk to him about all things football. He knows college football really well. Did Big Ten games for years. Signetti, Dan Lanning, all those guys. And that'll be the game plan today. And we'll just keep humming along. So you guys know the drill. how are you doing, buddy? Great to see you, brother. Great. Still recovering. I hope the Niners are recovering faster from the return from Australia than me. It sounds like they are, but I feel great. It was a good time. I could get used to 10.30 a.m. local kicks, actually. Did not think I would say that, but the sun was bright, and then you had the whole day afterwards. It
was a good time. You also, what's Sammy? 10 months? 10 months,
yep. Just a little
older than Jack. So you spend, what, seven nights there? in a five star hotel, just
by yourself in the hotel room. We left on a Wednesday, got back on a Friday. So like in America, it was like nine days. In Australia, it was seven days.
Did you ever get like thinking that crying just coming and just kind of jolt you or after a couple of days, you're like, oh, this guy get used to this. Put your feet up and nice and quiet.
A couple of times I woke up in Australia at like 2 a.m. there and Sam was like having his nap here. So I check in on him on the screen. So he's napping, listen to his little little music and then go back to sleep. I did feel a little bit of guilt about it. Yeah, I just feel a little bit of guilt about it. Then I come home and I can't sleep and he's waking up and I'm not helpful. So it's like really. It's like 11, 12 days that I'm actually not helping.

49ers broadcaster. You called the game on radio. You traveled with the team. I'm just kind of fascinated by Australia, just big picture. I've been to New Zealand when I was 12 years old. That was a long time ago. Are there, like, do you just have ESPN, like, normal television shows? Do you have to use your iPad to watch, you know, for what you wanted to watch? Obviously, the time zone. Challenging. Just give me your rundown, non-football, just the Australian experience of the food, the TVs, the time, the weather. Was it cold? Was it
hot? I was kind of confused. Yeah, it was the end of their winter, so it was great walking weather. Like, you know, you get out, it's crisp. You get going a little bit, and it feels perfect. So it was like that. It rained one day, but, like, briefly.
