Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed human.
Hey guys, it's us, the Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what? We created our own podcast called Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it, but you know. Tired and sick. Tired and sick. Listen to Hey Jonas on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas. And I'm CJ Toledano. It's our favorite time of the year on our podcast, Point Game, the playoffs.
We're digging into the biggest surprises of the season. And I'm looking back on some of my greatest playoff moments. If we didn't talk ever again, I was crying. You just understood. That's how personal it got. Wow. Then after that game seven, Mark keep coming to you. He's like, you know, I love you, dog. You know, it's all love. This was just playoffs. This was just basketball.
So listen to Point Game on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. If you're watching the latest season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, you already know there's a lot to break down. Portia accusing Kelly of sleeping with a married man. They holding K. Michelle back from fighting Drew. Pinky has financial issues.
On the podcast, Reality with the King, I, Carlos King, recap the biggest moments from your favorite reality shows, including the Real Housewives franchise, the drama, the alliances, and the tea everybody's talking about. Colin Cowherd. Stu Gotts and company. Live. Covino and Rich. The Odd Couple with Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington. The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon. And the Ben Maller Show. Fox Sports Radio. On YouTube.
Chapter 3: How did the Rams' strategy influence the trade decision?
Subscribe, hit that thumbs up icon, and comment away. Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what? We have some big news. What's the news, Nick? Huge news. We created our own podcast called Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Yeah, a pretty wide range of podcasts. We're starting a trend.
But this one's extra special. So how did we actually come up with the name Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it, and... Well, we were thinking of originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers. This is how you guys remember it going down? Yes. I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast where people could call in and say, Hey, Jonas. And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey, Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. Oh, wow. But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Just listen.
We don't care where you hear it. What's up fam, it's Isaiah Thomas. And I'm CJ Toledano and our podcast Point Game is about defying the odds. Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luka and Austin Reed. And finding ways to win no matter what. He's the smartest player to ever play the game. His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before.
And he knows without Luka and Austin Reed, I gotta manipulate the game. We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs. I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup, he has to really guard guys like Nas Reed. He has to guard Julius Randle. And then he has to give us everything he gives us on a night-to-night basis on offense.
And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson, we dive into some playoff history too.
Steve Nash would get that thing. That man, hell get the flying. He running up the court, licking his fingers while he got the ball. Like, after you go through a training camp with that Isaiah, you figure it out real quick. Get your ass up and down the court and you going to get the ball. So listen to Point Game on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Keith Giamonco seemed like a mild-mannered suburban dad, but secretly, he became someone else, a master of disguise who went on a crime spree. At the time, did it seem like a crazy idea? It seemed very crazy, but I felt so desperate that I felt it was the quickest, easiest way out. Did you allow yourself to think about how it could go wrong and what that might look like?
No, I didn't want to manifest that. I was trying to manifest success. Every family has its secrets, but what happens when you discover that your dad has been living a double life? That is not the look of an innocent man. This is going to change my life and my family dynamic forever because everything that had existed prior in my reality is now untrue.

Chapter 4: What are the key factors behind the Rams' Super Bowl aspirations?
Brown. And they went way down the line in looking at a trade for A.J. Brown that would have been centered on a 20-28 first-round pick. Part of the reason that fell apart was because there would have been a corresponding trade of Devontae Adams out of Los Angeles. They wind up hanging on to Adams, backing out on Brown, but they had been thinking about this for a while.
And I think the mistake that everybody made, and I brought this up a couple times here on this show, was looking at the Ty Simpson selection as something that couldn't help Matthew Stafford.
the rams didn't see it that way the rams looked at it as we are taking care of our quarterback position now and we are taking care of our future now so we have flexibility going forward to move first round picks in the future to move second round picks into the future to move third round picks in the future because we don't need to worry about getting our quarterback anymore
And at that point, they had already looked at the idea of Myles Garrett and zeroed in on Myles Garrett. And I think it was very difficult for them to say goodbye to Jared Burst. They love him as a player. And like that piece of it hurts, but they knew it was going to hurt when they lined up to get the best player in all of football.
so uh you know now you look at it's pretty amazing when you think about it colin i mean i would say the real super bowl was probably played in seattle on that night at the end of january you agree with me there yes absolutely so so now they're returning that team and adding trent mcduffie and miles garrett while losing jerry verse pretty good deal it is just it is this this league is nuts um
Yeah, I mean, there's a handful of teams. Seattle, the Eagles roster, Denver's roster, Buffalo. How do you think, you know, I said, I think some of it is, let's keep them out of Philadelphia. Because I've watched the last two times they've played Philly. They've outplayed them. They can't block Jalen Carter. Do you think the Eagles were also interested here? The Eagles really couldn't do it.
Do the Eagles have interest in everything? Yeah, they do. But I think because of their salary cap situation being what it is, and you can always make these things work, I guess, to some degree. But part of the reason that the Eagles have had to wait until now on A.J. Brown, and I think in the next... you know, 24, 48 hours, A.J.
Brown gets traded to the Patriots is because they literally had run out of contracts to restructure. And so when they traded for Jonathan Grenard over the course of draft weekend, I think that was sort of an acknowledgement. Like, we love to swing pig here, but we need to be responsible because our salary cap is in a spot. where it's really tough to find wiggle room.
And look, I would say this too, Colin, that's a credit to Howie Roseman and to Jeffrey Lurie because they built so aggressively the last couple of years. And I think any Eagles fan would tell you it was worth it to have two Super Bowls, two Super Bowl appearances and a championship in there. Yeah. But they've spent cash over cap. Again, credit to ownership for that.

Chapter 5: What insights did Albert Breer provide about the trade negotiations?
You don't want to get anybody hurt. So guys like Max Crosby and Miles Garrett, you put them on winning teams. Whew. I mean, you may want to, in Los Angeles, sit down today and get the parade route finalized. Oh, man. I got to take a break. I'm all fired up on this. This guy, I mean, the Rams, they're going to be leading 13 games in the fourth quarter.
And maybe some of them by over a touchdown, meaning we have to throw every down. Hey guys, it's us, the Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what?
