Welcome into Fantasy Pros. This is the Fantasy Football Podcast. Tara Roberts here with Pat FitzMorris and Jake Seely. And today we are talking eight fantasy players that fantasy football projections love. These players are guys that Pat and Jake, and quite frankly, me too as well, because they picked a fantastic group of players. Spoiler alert on that one. These are players that they think have more favorable fantasy. Fantasy Pros projections than their half PPR ADPs might actually suggest. And they are giving you a very nice variety, multiple players here being taken before round one, according to a uh half PPR ADP. And players being taken in the mid rounds and double digit round players as well. So we are doing a broad spectrum here in terms of finding value for you guys.
Now, Pat, how are you doing? I know this is um this is a big week for us. We're finally getting actual actual football. It may not be the actual football that we want, but we're getting it. How are you doing?
I'm doing great. Yeah, we're we're getting football. We're getting the pads. Uh and you know, Hard Knox debuted last night. First episode with the Seahawks. That was a lot of fun. So I feel like once Hard Knox premieres, like you're into training camp now. Yeah. We're we're knee deep. So I'm ready.
How about you, Drake?
I'm ready for all the hot takes to change our opinions after one game in the preseason where we saw fifteen plays from a player. That's all that matters, right?
Right. I've already seen the Jonathan Brooks RB1 season because he is not playing in the Hall of Fame game there. So we've already got it. The hype is happening here. But let's go ahead and dive in because we've got a ton of players to cover for you guys. We'll start off here with Pat's number one player. Um it's Josh Jacobs with an ADP of RB 14 overall 21 here. Pat talk to us about Josh Jacobs.
Yeah, the projections really seem to like him, Tara. They've got him for two hundred and eighty-nine carries, eleven hundred sixty-one yards, twelve touchdowns, and then another thirty-six catches for two hundred and eighty-four yards and one point two touchdowns receiving. If he's healthy, I I do think there's an excellent chance for Jacobs to hit those projections. And I can't wait to hear what Jake is gonna say about this because I think Jake likes more than uh Josh. likes Josh Jacobs more than consensus. I mean, it was Josh Jacobs being banged up over the second half of the 2025 season that kind of um took some of the luster off off last year. Like he was dealing with this bone bruise in his knee and a thigh contusion after landing hard on that infernal turf in MetLife Stadium in a mid-November game against the Giants.
But look, Jacobs has averaged 18.9 touchdowns. As a game since coming to Green Bay. Like Matt LaFleur leans on him hard. He scored 30 touchdowns in 32 regular season games with the Packers, almost one a game. So I get the uh the projection we have of 13.2 total touchdowns. Seems spot on if he stays healthy. I mean, he's one of the best inside runners in the league. Matt LaFleur is a very good run game designer. I don't love the Packers' offensive line. I mean, the newly renamed. Named Zach Baco Bawele, former formerly Zach Tom, he's probably the only above-average offensive lineman the Packers have, but Packers' offensive line has always been better than the sum of its parts uh while Matt LaFleur has been there.
