Yeah, I mean, I can go on and on about your accolades, but what you did in 2016 was incredible, and we'll get to that. um, to see you develop in your career over the last 10 years is insane. Can you believe it's been 10 years? No, no, not at all. I mean, you can look at my hair and like you already said, I'm gray. I'm gray. And, uh, no, it's, it's been, I mean, thinking about how even just the reunion, when we all gotten it, everyone's there and we're all having conversations. It felt like it was yesterday. I thought that was a cool thing. Right. But, uh,
I think that just the way it's been going in my career, and I've just been lucky, blessed, whatever it is, that I have that opportunity to keep playing and trying to play at a high level. But no, I don't believe it's been 10 years. It's wild. It's been crazy, man. You're a lot richer now than you used to be, that's for sure. Yeah, you are. Somebody else is buying dinners.
I remember... You getting drafted out of Indiana, and they're, like, taking this. I remember Theo talking about it.
It's the best power in the draft. What was it, 13? Yeah, 2014 draft. 14 draft. You're a legend in my hometown with Tallahassee, Florida. Went in there. I think you had, like, four home runs in the regional. I hit a far one there. They said. Who was yours? A national champion. Natty Champs. It was a good year for you. It was great. Yeah, this past year, the offseason, wow, great offseason. I'll tell you what, you know, contract, baby, Hoosiers. Reunion. Reunion, Team USA.
Awesome. I mean, I was thinking about this while I was just going over some stuff before the interview, and I was like, dude, this could be literally your whole year. Like, you could roll this right into... Championship and then another World Series.
I would love that. You guys got juice there in Philly. Nothing better. Nothing better to do that. And we got that team. For us in Philly, even we just locked up Lizardo. That was a huge deal for us. Yeah, Stumper Douglas alumni, Azusa, Lizardo. We got some young guys coming up too, which I think could be really exciting. Crawford Painter's gonna be coming up.
