Kaelon Black 2:26
Hey man, appreciate you for having me on, man.
Richard Sherman 2:27
Blessed. Yeah man. It it it just it ever since you got here, all you know, I haven't seen you I haven't got to go to practice and watch it, but everybody has talked about how much of a pro you are, how how mature you are, how the game is coming easy to you, how explosive you are. How has your first I guess couple of months in San Francisco been. Well, I guess Santa Clara.
Kaelon Black 2:50
Yeah, it's been great, man. Definitely eye opening. Um just, you know, blessed to be out here. Um, blessed for the opportunity. And, you know, I'm ready to just, you know, prove myself to the whole world. Um Like I said, man, I'm just grateful for the, you know, the Niners picking me. Uh I know I was, you know And as it wasn't as highly, you know, anticipated to go high in the draft or anything like that. But, you know, like I said, I'm just blessed, man, and I'm ready to roll.
Richard Sherman 3:13
I mean, speaking of that, you you you came from James Madison, you know, and you you you obviously weren't the most heralded guy, but then you get to Indiana and you guys were roar your way to a national championship. And a lot of it they they rode you were the bell cow. You know what I mean? And you got it done at a high level. How much did that season mean to you?
Kaelon Black 3:31
It meant a lot. Uh I just feel like, you know, that team right there was just, you know, the closest team that I've been on. You know, you have guys like, you know, Fernando Mendoza and D'Angelo Pons, Aiden Fisher, like all NFL guys now. I feel like, you know, the camaraderie, you know, the leadership, you know, in the building was just great.
