I wish I could credit where I saw it. Again, I should have written it down. I didn't. This is the Spurs' seventh time in the NBA Finals.
This is the first time ever. They have trailed in a series. Wow. 99 finals, they won 4-1, never trailed. 03 finals, they swept the Nets. 05 finals, they won in 7 against the Pistons, but never trailed. 07 finals, they swept the Cavs. 13 finals, they lost in 7, but never trailed. 14 finals, they won in 5. And now... So two things happened today that either haven't happened in decades or have never happened. The Spurs trailing in a finals and the New York Knicks waking up as the favorites to win the championship. That hasn't happened since mid-June 1994. And there's only been one day in the last 52 years that the Knicks have woken up favorites to win the title prior to today. They are the favorites. They should be the favorites.
