And she's aged forty, she's been in the public consciousness for the best part of twenty five years. And she will retire um on Saturday night. Of course, it has to be said that boxers sometimes ill advisedly come back when they're not supposed to, but she will essentially bow out against a French challenger called Flora Pilly. Tickets sold out in under half an hour. Eighty thousand tickets. It shows her, I suppose, extraordinary connection with the Irish public.
