We’ll talk about the difference between healthy and unhealthy compartmentalization, the shame and avoidance that often sit underneath it, the function it served during the betrayal, small acts of self-deception, and what it really means to live with integrity.
Because the deeper question isn’t simply, “How do I know they’ll never cheat again?”
It’s: How do I know their actions, values, identity, and private life are no longer capable of existing in separate worlds?
