Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
Hey everybody, welcome to our midweek episode of the Jan Arden Podcast and Show. I'm here with Caitlin Green and Sarah Burke, and this is going to be our Voice Notes Spectacular Ask Jan, all about what you're thinking about, what you want to know.
Chapter 2: What updates does Jann share about her bachelorette plans?
Sit back, get your drink, get your cup of tea, put your feet up. Hopefully you got some sunshine in on those white Canadian legs of yours. And we will carry on right now with our first podcast.
Chapter 3: What are the latest thrifting trends and creative outfit ideas?
Voice note.
Here we go.
Hi, Jan and gang. I love how you say gang all the time. Makes me laugh.
Chapter 4: How did Jann Arden choose her stage name?
I am just curious on the bachelorette. Have you booked the RV? Have you sent out invites? Where are we standing with that?
Chapter 5: How does Jann feel about the life and death prediction apps?
Inquiring minds would like to know.
Chapter 6: What conversations are being had around gender and support?
I also heard on a recent podcast that you have a new tour manager. And I was just hoping you could give us an update on that. I didn't realize Chris wasn't with you anymore.
Chapter 7: Why are female-centric services important in today's society?
And yeah, so I was hoping you could fill us in what's going on there. Hope you guys have a good spring and summer. It's finally getting warm out here.
Chapter 8: What recommendations do Jann and her guests have for entertainment and media?
Snow is gone and loving it. Yep.
Anywho, take care. Thank you. Thank you for these questions. First of all, we have not booked the motorhome. I don't think it's going to happen, girls. I don't know when we're going to... How can it happen? How can we get together? Like, I got crap all summer. You guys are busy. Caitlin's probably going to be going to the townships of somewhere at some point.
Townships of somewhere.
Or to Prince Edward... Prince Edward Island.
I have my eye on a potential date, but it would again be in Toronto. So it has to be cleared for Jan's touring. But my goal, it doesn't include an RV, though. So it would include a dinner and an activity. But it has to happen before Jan's date. It could still be thrifty, though. It could. OK, so it could be thrifty. There is.
It just depends on how much time there is able to be carved out from Jan's schedule. So at the very least, it would include a meal and it would include a very fun activity, both of which seem possible. But it is not an RV and it would be in Toronto. So stay tuned on that possibility.
What about right before? I don't know. Like and like whisking both you and Thordis away with like just a few of your best friends in Calgary. All the Icelanders will be there.
It's not impossible. I mean, the wedding is on the 15th. I'm not sure when guests are arriving. I don't know if you guys are going to make a few days out of when you're coming. I'm not sure what's happening. It's possible. It's possible. We could hit a value village. And I might just be a nervous wreck trying to get all these details put together. And we just kidnap you. With the gang.
As someone who's done a destination wedding, I will say, I would think maybe don't sign up for that leading up to your wedding. Because I just didn't. I feel like that would have been too much for me to take on.
