Kyle and Jackie O. The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
Good morning, everyone. Hi, guys.
Hello, you too. Welcome back from the long weekend. Did you enjoy yourselves? Yeah, it was so nice. What did you do?
Just caught up with friends, went to the beach, you know. Brooklyn and Damien came over for dinner.
Damien actually cooked for Jackie in her house.
Why weren't they just in as caught up with friends? Why did they get a special announcement?
Just because it seems weird to say I caught up with friends and ignore the fact that Brooklyn's right in front of me.

Chapter 2: What did the hosts do over the long weekend?
I don't know what that means. What? I don't know what that means. Tomatoes. Do you know what focaccia is? No. All I like is tip-top.
Oh, is it Turkish?
I like tip-top white bread. I don't like all these other fans. You go to a cafe, give us some toast. Out comes some rubbish. Oh, no, it is focaccia. That harsh bread. What's that rubbish bread? Sourdough. Oh, get over it. We don't like that peasant food. Yeah, it's hard. It cuts your gums. Yeah, I think people's teeth were falling out, weren't they, over COVID?
Because everyone was into making sourdough. Really?
Chapter 3: What cooking skills are highlighted in the conversation?
Whose teeth was falling out? A whole bunch of friends, they got a meth problem. I do know someone who had their tooth that came out when they were eating sourdough. Who? I won't dog them in.
Who is it?
They just literally bit into it and it fell out. Who is it? Do we know them? I can't say. I don't know if I've got it right, so I don't want to put the wrong person.
Name the name.
No, I won't do that. Robert Irwin. No, not a celebrity. You guys don't know him. It doesn't even matter. Who cares what their name is? I don't really hang out with celebrities. No, I noticed. Yeah. Well, there's some on the Z list. There's some. Jackie, were the potato jams homemade? They were from the packet, but they were really good. He puts spices on them.
Guys, he threw a few potato jams in an air fryer. Big deal. Peter, is that a cook?
I mean, I love Damien, but the gems have got to be homemade, right?
How do you make them homemade and why would you bother?
That's a fair point too, to be fair.

Chapter 4: What advice is given about handling conflicts in relationships?
Be very careful what you say in response to wanting to get back at her, putting her in line. Silence is golden because I think sometimes you can't take words back. Just be calm. Yeah, because I've sort of felt that it's been the opposite, whereas she sort of like has been bringing up sort of past events and very accusatory of things that I've done or said or whatever.
That's why I said you be calm. Don't fight back.
Don't fall for that trap. Don't fall for the red flags, you know, the messages, because that's what keeps it going. Just don't get involved in it because the message is where you get involved, it's like punching bags and it destroys it completely. Katrina, you'll have to assume your mother's role as the elder now to let these things decide.
Well, the problem is I'm the younger one, so it's sort of like she's taking control of everything.
Oh, right. I'm sort of trying to, you know, get involved and, you know, do my part. But I think in her eyes, it's seen that it's just not good enough.
And that she's doing everything and I'm not, that sort of situation. I always think she has been jealous of you. That's what I said. This happened even before your mum died. There has always been a conflict situation. Now your mother's not there as the referee. She's going hell for leather. But the message is silence is golden because if you don't fight back, she can't keep going.
So the message is silence is golden. Okay, thank you, Katrina.
Thank you, Gigi.

Chapter 5: How do past family dynamics affect current relationships?
My pleasure.
It's good to see you.
Yeah, see you next week. Yep, okay.
There's no prophecies for the future of us? You got nothing? No. You look at Brooklyn there, you feel nothing? Yeah, anything for me, Georgina? I gave you scrolls last week. What else do you want? That was last week's scroll. No, that took a lot of effort to do those scrolls. A lot of effort. Nothing to do.
Chapter 6: What insights are shared about celebrity interactions and their implications?
You printed them off the bloody Netflix or whatever, didn't you? No, I did not. I made them up in my head and then I had to roll them all up and put a little bow on them. It took a long time. Listen, for someone else that rolls all day every day, it's not that hard rolling things up. Well, I won't do it next year then. Oh, I like them. It suits me. You'll forget by next year anyway. No, I won't.
Don't forget anything. Are you like an elephant? Yeah. Actually, that's my totem, an elephant. Not because of size, but an elephant never forgets. That's your what? My totem on my business card and everything.
Totem? Totem, yeah.
What does that word mean? Well, some people have wolves that they look up to. What? Yes. Some people have wolves that they look up to?
Yeah, it's a totem. It's something that is spiritually aligned to their personality.
Oh. What would yours be, Jackie?
What would yours be?
She said she was a fisherman, so maybe it's a whale. Oh, no. I do feel, yeah. Might have been three years ago. I reckon turtle. Turtle. Turtle? Yeah. Yeah, sometimes you have an affinity to a particular animal and you think, oh, yes, you know? Yeah. So some people have giraffes. What would my animal be? Well, you have to decide that. A dolphin.
No, no, no. No?

Chapter 7: What happens when Lockie meets Ella at the movie premiere?
I reckon it'll be good. A table tennis guy? Yeah. No, I think it will. Like, it's actually got a lot of good reviews. Well, kids, they're dumb. They go off to the movie, they spend their money, they don't realise the laughter. Hasn't it been nominated for Oscars as well? That's proof that it's no good. There's no winning with you, is there?
Chapter 8: Why does Ella leave the movie early and what does Lockie think?
I couldn't say anything. I'm just telling you, everyone knows the worst films that win these awards, no one really watches them.
Yeah, all right.
They're not the most popular.
So what happened then?
So it was in the open-air cinema, the one next to the Sydney Botanic Gardens. Yep. So it was an exclusive event where it was invite-only. Obviously, that exclusive. You were there. How exclusive could it possibly be? Okay, so invite-only, that's good. That makes it easier, maybe. Yeah. Well, maybe. So I took my seat and then a couple of friendly guys sat next to me.
One of them was Harry, his name was. I knew it. This bloke's always been into blokes. No, no, no, no, no. Let me continue. And then a couple of girls who were friends with Harry and his mate sat in front of us. So there was one of them, Ella, who had blonde hair and was really cute. And then her friend, Pip.
And I got chatting to Ella, and she recognised me for beauty in the gay candle, I think, from the show as well. Listen, can I just tell you? No one recognises you from Beauty and the Geek. No one even really watched that shit show. So you're known from this show. Just so you know, more people listen to this show in half an hour than ever watched it in total on Channel 9.
We don't have to get bogged down in where it's known from. No one knew you from Beauty and the Geek.
Okay, just let him get on with it.
