It seems like they've kind of settled on twelve now, but not all of them are scientists. The bigger issue is that these are all people who Almost all people who had top secret security clearances, uh, or at least some kind of security clearance, and worked on rockets, a lot of them did work for JPL, not all of them were actively working for JPL. Some of them worked for NASA, not all of them were currently working for NASA.
Same goes with Los Alamos National Laboratory. So uh one thing that William McCastlin's wife, this is the the guy who really kicked this all off, was when William McCastlen went missing. He was a, I want to say air. Air Force Major General. Okay. Might have been brigadier. Um But he worked with Monica Reza and her mentor on this uh Mondoloi, which is an an alloy that I I can't remember I again, I'm not a a rockets and physics person, but from what I understand basically the Soviets were able to or the Russians or the Soviets were able to do something with a certain kind of fuel. Uh, I forget if like if it was liquid or gas or whatever, but it was something that we couldn't do because we couldn't find a metal that could withstand the reaction.
Um, or that could withstand the the the gas I again, I don't have a good grasp on this. This is something I want to get into in the video. I'm gonna do some more research.
My guess would be it couldn't withstand the pressures. Probably. Because a lot of the problems that we've had with liquid uh like oxygen and hydrogen and and other fuels that we have used is that we constantly have to off gas them.

That's why when you see especially the older rockets and even rockets now, where they have kind of the clouds coming off of them all the way up towards the tip. That's off gassing of like pressurized oxygen and fuel that is having to be vented.
