So yesterday, Trump was campaigning in North Carolina for the Republican Senate candidate Michael Whatley. He is running against Roy Cooper, the Democrat, former governor of the state. And this race is considered the safest flip for Democrats this cycle. Knock on wood. Tillis is retiring, the Republican. So this would be technically a flip. Cooper is super popular in the state, as I say, consistently up in the polls. The other flips, of course, that we need to be monitoring, Troy Jackson in Maine versus in Collins, Tallarico versus Paxton, taking on the Cornyn seat.
We have Alaska. We have Kansas now, which is an interesting race. And, hey, I'll throw Florida down there because my girl Angie Nixon is running tough against Ashley Moody, who has never been elected. She was appointed. So we shall see. But in terms of the potential flips that we're looking at, Iowa, too, this is considered one where the Democrats should hopefully emerge victorious. So. That's why I'm a little bit surprised that a bunch of supporters enthusiastically and maybe I shouldn't say a bunch. Some Trump supporters enthusiastically showed up to another Trump rally because I guess they decided that. It would be fun to take a time out of their day to be told by this raving lunatic of a president that their entire community and state is awful.
