So if countries like India and others want to utilize it, they have to now pay Iran millions of dollars. And Iran now is also saying if you want to use the Strait of Hormuz, you have to do it in the Chinese currency, the yuan.
And this can also weaken the dollar even more by forcing the Chinese currency to be used through the Strait of Hormuz. Just an interesting thing to note, the people of Japan were furious at Prime Minister Takeishi's appearance in the United States last week.
