A Democrat by the name of Renee Hardman will go on to win Iowa state Senate district seat 16 with 71.5% of the vote. She won by 43 points in this race against the MAGA Republican candidate, Lucas Lofton. This is a 27 point Democrat over-performance from 2024. Kamala Harris won this district by 16.
