They know that Miles Garrett, although he's not playing right now, whenever he gets back, he's only going to add to a defense that was able to stop the run last night pretty well against the New York Giants team that we were all talking about becoming maybe the most physical or maybe the most dominant team in the NFC as a whole.
Only just Matthew Stafford, it was also Devontae Adams, who was the number one wide receiver, the number one option, as Puka Nakua was ruled out with some hip tightness. And Devontae Adams went crazy. He talked to Scott Van Pelt afterwards, and he said, you know, uh, just like a shooter gets hot early, you start making some catches, some high outside catches, all of a sudden, you know, things start rolling. 195 yards, coupled cuts, Devontae Adams on back on top of the world, and Matthew Stafford. Looked a lot better than he looked down there in Australia. Now, whatever you think about the Los Angeles Rams defense. Aaron Donald coming back, that's a huge deal, right? Mm-hmm. Certainly is. Afterwards he said I'm right where I want to be. Got a chance to see Les need. I like that he's just stressed out through games, even whenever they're doing well. That was fantastic to watch and witness. And the Los Angeles Rams, entire operation so hospitable. Now For the other side of the coin, man, Jackson Dark getting hurt again.
And I know this is something, especially this injury, because this seemed like a freak. Just incredibly unlucky, disgusting sandwich, hyperextension, sprain MCL on the knee. Now it was being reported last night that he wanted to go back into the game. Obviously, he walked off. They had to take his jersey and his helmet from him because they were scared he was just gonna go on there and sub himself in whenever they didn't want him. Now there's obviously conversation about how many games will he miss, even though he wanted to go back on the field last night. I think he is Constantly trying to prove to people that he is not an injury guy or a fragile body guy. I think this particular injury right here, very unlucky.
I I don't know how that is something he could have avoided, maybe step up in the pocket, maybe make a better decision earlier. But that hit happening, where it happened, how it happened, disgusting stinks. And for the entire Giants, simply took the wind out of airs.
