Well, first off, always great to be on with you guys. I am on Radio Row right now. We just completed day five of doing shows Monday through Friday. I am actually, at the conclusion of this interview, going to the airport to fly home. I'll land in New York about, I think, 10 o'clock tonight. So it's been an awesome week of shows. I am back on Sunday morning on WFAN from 8 to 9 a.m. Eastern and then nationally from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eastern. I'll give out the vast majority of my bets on those shows. But just to answer the question as to who I think will win the game and cover the spread, I am going to bet the Seattle Seahawks guys to win and cover. I'll lay the four and a half with Seattle. I think the most likely outcome in this game, probabilistically, is that New England's going to struggle to score.
I think that Seattle's defense is going to do a really nice job on the Patriots' offense. So if that's true, and I think the Patriots will struggle to score, I think Seattle's likely to win the game, probably likely to win the game by double digits. So I will lay the Seattle Seahawks guys coming up in the Super Bowl.
Nick, somebody who is as passionate about sports betting as you are, I mean, it's kind of your life and you're very good at it. You're very good at this stuff, too, talking into a microphone. The Super Bowl has to be better than Christmas morning for you.
I love the Superbowl. The thing with the Superbowl is I think the misnomer can be, and I'll just, I'll do like a gambling responsibly PSA here. Like it is really exciting. It does kind of feel like it's Christmas morning, but you have to understand that the markets are all extraordinarily sharp. It's the most bet event of the year. There's millions upon millions of dollars being bet into it. So like looking at the side in total and saying like, this is wrong. or looking at a prop market and saying, well, this is wrong. It doesn't mean you can't be right and win your bet, but everything is super, super, super sharp. Everyone knows everything. There's no mysteries in the game. Everyone's aware of all the information.
We've all had two weeks to assess. assimilate it so if you're going to be the type of person and i will i'll probably have 15 to 20 bets on the game just bet responsibly please so if it all goes wrong you can put your head down the pillow that night on sunday night and feel like you can get a good night's sleep so like you can treat it like me and it can feel like christmas morning but don't get you know too ahead of your skis please gamble responsibly if you're going to place a ton of bets on the game i am going to and i will bet responsibly on sunday
Who's going to be the MVP and who might be a dark horse that people could make a very smart bet on, Nick?
Yeah, so let's go from the Seahawks' perspective. I think you can make the case outside of Darnold, right, because you're looking for a juicier answer than that. On offense, I think obviously the choice would be Jackson, Smith, and Jigba. About plus 500, plus 550 at that MGM. I wouldn't, on the offensive side of the ball, look anywhere else. for Seattle other than Darnold and then JSN and JSN's at a longer price. I think you could potentially look at defensive players for Seattle. I think if New England's going to win, I have a hard time thinking it's not going to be Drake May. So May would be my answer if people like the Patriots. But if you like Seattle, you could potentially look at your defensive player of choice.
