So I am deep here in Flyers country.
I was a Penguins fan.
And...
My concern is are we confident in Skinner and or Shelavs going against guys like Konechny or Zgrass?
Are they going to be able to stop those goal attempts?
Here's what I would say to that.
I think anybody who's watched the hype video that they put out, that the Penguins put out yesterday, is aware that, yes, I think I had them as a bottom five team, essentially.
I thought they were going to be really, really, really bad, probably until, like, I don't know, Christmas.
Like, I kept waiting for the bottom to fall out, and they lost those eight games in a row and somehow bounced back from it.
And I think that's when I was like, oh, okay.
I might have been thinking...
It was like a tweet of the link to the season preview.
I don't remember exactly how I phrased it, but it was basically like, this team's going to suck.
They're going to be awful.
And, yeah, I stopped counting it once I hit double digits on people who sent it to me last night and thought they were breaking news.
I was like, no, that's fine.
I think we were aware of it to some extent.
We knew that great as he's been and
good a coach as he is on some levels still, just wasn't a fit for the roster, wasn't a fit for the overall mindset.
