I don't think he wants that plan, but if he knows it's there just in case, and I think they know that in the next two weeks they'll have an answer, and if they don't, find out he's a head coach and he's coming right back where he was, you know, really good this year. I thought their defense got better as the year went on.
By the way, I know I keep saying that and I'm sorry for that. What if Mike McDaniel flourishes having a real quarterback in Justin Herbert? I'm just looking at that.
I think that's a good combination. That's going to be interesting to monitor. Takes the pressure off Mike McDaniel in terms of the head coach. He just has to worry about that offense and that's, Herbert's, I think, disappointed, especially I realize his offensive line just went to shreds this year.
