Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
bob i've been known to make some strange noises but i overheard limits playing some things back there during our brief intermission and i've never ever made a sound quite as primal and perhaps disturbing as pat bostick did that one day he tried to get in the game didn't he yeah to get in the yelping game and this just wasn't right do we have that limits Yeah, that was us. Yeah, here's Pep.

He needed to be hospitalized after that, I think. Play that one more time, Limits.

I didn't know Bostic had that in him. Ron did that one day, too, and it was very disturbing, I must say. We don't have that, do we? Ron's out first? All right.
Oh.
Bob? Who was that?
Oh.
That sounded like Zyce. Was it Bob? It was Bob. Oh. Me? That's not me. Yeah, that's why Joe says. Oh. That's not me. I know me. Zyce says, Bob?

Chapter 2: What are the NFL Award predictions for 2025?
It's going to be between Stafford and Drake May. And I'm leaning towards Stafford. Because I remember at the beginning of the year, he had that neck injury. A lot of people didn't think he'd even play. And he was dynamic for them this year. Wonder Twin?
I think there's a couple of ways you can look at this. Drake May is definitely going to be in the running for years. Stafford has never won one. Should it be one of those lifetime achievement awards for Stafford as well as having statistically a better season? I would just go with Drake May because I think it was so impressive what the Patriots did this year and so unexpected.
We knew the Rams were going to be good. We did not think the Patriots would be in the AFC championship game or number two seed. So for that, I would go with Drake May.
Yeah, but you can't count anything that happens in the playoffs. Well, I know, but they made it as a number two seed. I know they did. That was a good year for sure. But I think it's an insult to Stafford to characterize this as a lifetime achievement award. How many years does somebody have 12 more touchdown passes than anybody in the league? He had 46 touchdown passes and eight interceptions.
That's way better than 31 and eight. I'm sorry, he's the best player in the league this year. Best quarterback, anyway, and that's pretty much the MVP. He'll win the MVP, yes. Limits, would you care to counter that?
No, I think Stafford has a really good argument. I just think that based on the MVP, something that I always look at is, okay, how much did you exceed your expectations? And I know they played in a very good division, but the Rams didn't win their division either. Stafford played very well throughout the year. I would have no problem with either guy getting the MVP.
But I don't think at the beginning of the year people were looking at Stafford and the Rams as a team that would be.
I picked him to miss the playoffs because it sounded like he was in traction.
Well, I consider that as part of the story. We weren't sure if he was going to play, and if so, would he be affected by that injury? So he overcame all of that. So, yes, he should be the MVP.

Chapter 3: Who are the finalists for NFL MVP and who do the hosts favor?
It doesn't.
How is he on it and Stafford not? And Stafford should be on it, right. I'm going to go with Puka Nakua, even though Jackson Smith and Jigme was terrific. Something about Nakua that I just really ā he's a really good blocker, but I think he had 129 receptions this year. And every time you go to him, he does not drop the ball. He's as sure-handed as they come.
I know Smith and Jigme was outstanding. It's going to be one of those two, I think. Wonder Twin?
I'm going with run CMC Christian McCaffrey. What a year he had, guys. This is what I thought was just so insane about McCaffrey's season. He had 1,200 yards rushing this year. He had 924 yards receiving. That's insane. He almost had 1,000 yards in both categories. He had over 2,000 yards from scrimmage this year. It should be McCaffrey.
Look at Puka's numbers, though. Why isn't James Cook on this list, I might add? Now, the problem with McCaffrey is he only averaged 3.9 yards a carry. To me, that's a merit.
He's a workhorse, though. When he's in there, he's a complete difference maker because he can hit you from all angles. So I understand why he's on the list. He's just not getting my vote this year. I'll do respect.
My choice is Bijan Robinson. Another good player. Almost 1,500 yards rushing, 5.2 yards a carry, 79 catches out of the backfield, Bob, for 820 yards and four touchdowns. That's more than what you just described, Austin, right? Bijan was terrific. He's a superstar. And he busts out long runs left and right. Guess how many first downs he had this year combined? I'll give you guys an over-under.
Combined first downs, rushing and receiving, over-under 91.5.
Oh, it must be more than 25.

Chapter 4: What makes the case for Coach of the Year compelling this season?
What a city. Were you there for the Stanley Cup final? I was. Limits wasn't. He wasn't even born. I was.
Bob, were you there for that? No, I wasn't. We did the home games, but Rich was down there for us on the away games. I wish I would have. I love the vibe.
Do you remember Colleen almost got in a fight with either Rex or Rob Ryan or saw them get in a fight or something?
I remember that story, yeah. In a bar somewhere?
Well, yeah. That's all there is in Nashville is a street filled with bars and music, right?
The best is to go out in Nashville with John Burton because it's like going out with the mayor.
Yeah.
And you walk into every place and he's Norm. He's saying, hey, JB.

Chapter 5: Who are the top contenders for Offensive Player of the Year?
And it can't just be the coach. It's got to come from the guys believing within. Maybe it's because they have four lines and other lines can come in and settle things down. But most times, even when they start feeling like they're 28 again... something stops it, which is amazing.
Yeah, and the case is, like last night, they gave up a goal with two seconds left in the second period. You think all the momentum's on their side? Came out and they suffocated them for five shots on goal. Even when they had an eight-game losing streak, I told Joe, look at the shots against. They weren't. The Penguins still carried a lot of the play until they third down meltdown.
Bob, we have to go.
I don't care. I'm in the middle of something. That's all right. Go ahead.
I did Twitter and text limits. Now he's unbelievable. Bob's the one going over the deadline. You're making signals to me and then telling me what I've missed. Jeff, do something.
I was a violator. Do something.
Limits is in control of this ship. If we don't get that in, Joe, the bills will not be paid.
