I think that thank you is one of the great lines in fan history, even though it wasn't on the air.

We're going to further fuel this. He's going to, yes. We're just going to further fuel this delusion that Will Howard is the answer.
I wish I had a great Yinzer accent. I'm sure Mulsey will do one today of people changing their minds when they hear Mike McCarthy say something like, I'm pretty high on Will Howard. He's going to have an opportunity to start. If he says that, there's going to be a citywide celebration. Forget about the snow. They may shut down schools for that.
If this dude says that Will Howard will be given an opportunity to start, you're going to have a citywide shutdown for a celebration. And we're going to get on the air on Wednesday. And the entire vibe of this whole thing is going to feel different. Would you agree that that's a possibility?
Oh, I think it's a real possibility, yes. I mean, they might throw an 0-16 parade like they did for the Cleveland Browns all those years ago. That might be the type of celebration that goes on in the city because there is just such a belief. And I honestly think it's because, look, there's no quarterback here, and people want to grasp onto something. There's no quarterback here.
They want to grasp onto some hope. So Will Howard being the most recent quarterback draft pick, plus there's a lot of Ohio State fans in the area, is the hope.

What is it that you learned from that experience that you think will benefit you most here?
Well, I mean, I need to confess. I mean, I told Jerry I watched every play of the 2019 season, but I wanted the job.
That's what everybody does in interview limits, and you might be on to something. He probably lied to Art. He probably said, what's one thing I can do here in this interview to really get these guys on my side? I can tell them what a great pick Will Howard was. Right. and I'll work my quarterback magic on him. You might be exactly right about that. I honestly believe that's the case. I do.

We got about 30 seconds. All you had to say was 50. But yeah, I feel like that has to be at least a consideration, right, Joe? That maybe we know that he was telling Jerry Jones stuff to be able to get the job.
