Welcome back to a Donnie football Friday. Why did I do the weather already, Donnie? I did the whole hour's worth of reads because it went so long in the first segment. I thought it was the end of the hour and it's only the second segment. My apologies for that. But we are. That Bowser Chevy, I'm looking at new cars. If I was still drinking caffeine, I would have a down payment on one today.
I just have a hankering to buy a new car. I've had my Camry since 2020. It's been paid off. I think I could start making payments on a car. But why would I want to do that, Donnie? Isn't that stupid? Or is it smart?
I would keep going with the car that you got. But then again, I'm somebody that normally has a vehicle basically until it falls apart.
Yeah. I normally sell around 100. I'll tell you what. This is the spot here. Power of Bowser. There's some beautiful vehicles out there. I'm going to keep looking. And if you get me to drink a cup of coffee, I may drive away in a new car today.
I'm teetering. I've always been impressed with the array of, like, the Grand Prixs that Gary has lined up. Like, some of them have been featured in notable races.

I would actually be in favor of this. Wow. Yeah, I know that that might surprise you, but Graham, at least based on what I've seen, what I've read, he has done more with the Raiders who have one star player on their defense. They have Max Crosby.
Chapter 3: Why did Mike Tomlin reject the idea of coaching at USC or LSU?
Otherwise, I mean, there's not many guys you can name. Landon Roberts, but that's only because he played here. He did more with that by a lot of numbers than what Mike Tomlin and Terrell Austin did with the highest paid defense in football.
So I do want to give that one a shot of, well, let's see what that guy can do with more at his disposal because we know the Steelers never really, you know, they don't really spare expenses when it comes to that defense.
Yeah, I hear you. That's actually a good point. It's just... It's sort of like anything else where is it a function of what was around him? Or is he just not very good because the numbers aren't very good? But that doesn't mean he's not good, right?
I hope. I mean, I'm not going to act as if it's Dick LeBeau or Belichick when he was with the Giants, but I'm at least... It's kind of like Will Howard.
That's what I was trying to think of. We were talking about Howard before. You talked about everything he was surrounded with at Ohio State. So to me, I interpret that as... We don't know about Will Howard, but just because he was surrounded by greatness doesn't mean that he's also doesn't mean he can't also be really good. It doesn't. And in this case, it's the opposite.
Just because this guy was surrounded by crap and the numbers are crappy doesn't mean that he's crappy. You know what I mean? We don't know until he gets a shot with a more talented unit.
Yeah, I think that's a good way to put it. Like, there's concerns of, okay, he's been with now, this would be his fourth team in, I think, seven years. So that's something a little bit concerning. And I believe every team he's been the D.C. for has finished with a losing record. But you can't really just throw that on the defensive coordinator. You can't. Because you also have to consider defense.
how bad was the offense, how bad was the quarterback.
But what about a proven coordinator? What about Raheem Morris, who beat Joe Burrow in a Super Bowl with the Rams defense?
