I think this game is kind of reminiscent to the Rams and the Bengals Super Bowl, where we were supposed to hate the Bengals because of their logo, but their characters changed. It wasn't Martez, Burfitt, and those guys. So the hatred wasn't really there.
Why are some Steelers fans rooting for the Patriots?
And from the game perspective, I'm going to take this to another level in a different type of way. I'm actually rooting for New England. I want them to get that seventh ring. So we're not wrestling our laurels of, you know, sit Super Bowl champions, retire for the most champions. So we're not looking to be just competitive in a playoff game or maybe win in the first round. We're looking to win championships again because we don't have we're not wrestling our laurels for, you know, to sit Super Bowl wins. And then the last point is, I think we're far away. But also, I think the Super Bowl with the two matchups, there's two. you can take it from. You can take it from the New England way, tanking, stinking, going 3-14, and maybe even missing out on a quarterback like they did with Matt Jones.
Or you can do it the Seattle way by looking for free agency and getting a quarterback like Sam Darnold. There's multiple ways to skin a cat, and I think you can do it either way.
I like that point that Emmanuel made there about I want New England to win. I want them to get number seven because then Art in the front office can't rest on the laurels. I like that one a lot.
