Send us a textSIGN UP FOR THE POTTER DISCUSSION NEWSLETTER AND CLAIM YOUR GUIDE HERE!In this episode I explain the true purpose of the subject astronomy. Enjoy!Summary: The wizarding subject astronomy seems to be a waste of time. We never really see a true meaning for it. Today I explain why I think there is. Maybe, astronomy is another detail put in by J. K. Rowling to make the book pop. This could be true as many people are named after things in space. Astronomy could be something taught to young students so the general wizard population would know more about it. This too seems promising, but if its being taught to them, how could wizards not already know? There are some many options, but I think I have narrowed it down to one. The knowledge. And not astronomy itself. The practice of astronomy could help wizards do other things. As we have seen, some potions need to be brewing or consumed on a specific day or time when the moon or stars are in the right place. This is also true for spells. The animagus spells lasts for a month! And not done when the moon is full, leads to death. Astronomy isn't the study of space. It's the building block of everything.Gmail: [email protected]: @thepotterdiscussionWebsite: https://www.thepotterdiscussion.buzzsprout.comHaving anything you want to hear or say?
