Enjoy!Summary: Voldemort returning as a ghost wasn't what was on everyone's mind when Voldemort died. Why? The definition of being a ghost is having unfinished business with your killer. That is the summarized version of Voldemort's life! He was dead set on killing Harry and elevating his own power level beyond anything that has ever been seen before. So when he was killed, why no ghost? I think Voldemort accidentally created multiple anti-horcruxes. They didn't bind him to life, they bound him to death. This is happened because of all the stress being forced on his soul. In the season three finale, I tell you why Voldemort had hundreds of souls in side of him. Because of that, Voldemort's own soul was being pushed deeper and deeper until it became Voldemort himself. He merged with his soul. So when he was killed all the souls in him left. And Voldemort was left just a shell with remnants of his soul. However, keep in mind his horcruxes were already destroyed. Because they became Voldemort himself, they could survive but in the realm of death. That means, that when Voldemort entered the realm of death himself, his horcruxes bound him to death instead.
