S5 E11: The Veil's Three Exceptions

Send us a textIn this episode we discuss three situations where the rules of the veil might not apply. Enjoy!Summary: There are so many ways to die in Harry Potter. You could fall off a cliff, get pushed off a bride, or even got hit with  rock from the sky. But the most unexplained in certainly the veil. The one and only person we have ever known who has gone through the veil was Sirius Black. What happened to him? he wasn't fully dead when he entered the veil for a start. So was he both living and dead? Yes he was. Because Sirius was in the process of getting killed as he was going through the veil, he was forced into a state of limbo. The veil wanted to fully kill him while his still living side wanted to keep him alive. Another odd situation would be if a person entered the veil and was pulled out. What would happen to them? The veil doesn't want your body, it wants you soul. So if that person were to fully enter the veil, their soul would be taken and that would be it. So if they were pulled out, you might get the body. Not the person inside. Finally, if you threw a dead body into the veil what would happen? The answer to this question can be found in the previous question. The veil only wants your soul.
