Enjoy!Summary: The veil is a magical and mysterious artifact. For that reason, we don't know much about it. The veil is an archway connecting the land of the the living to the land of the dead. The catch: once you go through once, you can't come back. We have covered the veil before, but not the background. Where did the veil come from? Who made it? We can answer these questions with just two simple facts. One: in the Harry Potter Wiki article, it is stated the Unspeakables (the people who work in the Department of Mysteries) are constantly studying the veil. That means they don't know much about the veil. And two: the veil wasn't build for the Ministry of Magic. The Ministry was built around the veil! Now we know the veil is very old, powerful, has a strong connection with both life and death, and is so important the Ministry was founded because of it. What could make all those things? Cadmus Peverll. Cadmus has the resurrection stone! The stone does all of those things. His story goes like this: Cadmus brought his deceased bride back from the dead. But she couldn't live in that world, so she was dragged back to death. Cadmus killed himself with grief, so he could be with her forever. Let's make some revisions. Cadmus gets shiny new stone and tries to bring back bride. But when that doesn't work, he tries again. And again. And again. Finally, Cadmus makes something new. A veil that would allow him instead to travel to the land of the dead. What Cadmus didn't realize: his creation was one way. So when Cadmus went through the veil, he never came back.Gmail: [email protected]: @thepotterdiscussionWebsite: https://www.thepotterdiscussion.buzzsprout.comHaving anything you want to hear or say?
