Ron is a hero (and gets more heroic with each version of the story), and Harry just can’t shake the nagging feeling of the crushing task in the lake.· 10:37 Rita Skeeter and Karkaroff are stirring the pot. Rita writes an article about Hermione playing with the hearts of Krum and Harry. Karkaroff barges into a potions class and flashes the dark mark at Snape, but Harry catches a glimpse.· 18:08 The trio go to Hogsmeade and Sirius tells them everything about Crouch’s past. They learn that he was in line to become the next minister but was cast aside after his son, Barty Crouch Jr., was convicted of being a Death Eater.· 23:59 Moody, Crouch(es), and Karkaroff all implode. Mr. Crouch appears in a bad state but disappears when Dumbledore comes to help him. Harry goes into the pensive and watches the trial of Barty Crouch Jr.· 35:08 The trio discuss what just happened to open the last episode.
