Well, that's a good thing Sauron isn't trying to dominate or delude you. Today. Yeah, today. But folks, pull up a bench in the common room and join us. I'm Sean Marchese, the Lord of the Mark, and I'm here with the man of the West who's still trying to obtain his Palantiri permit, Alan Sisto.
You know, they keep telling me I'm not a legitimate user. I'm wondering, do I need a password reset? Is my 2FA broken? What's going on here? Legitimate user? Take off your glasses. Try that. See if that works. It may not recognize me. I think that's it. Yeah. Folks, join us for a closer look at the way these stones work, and no, they don't work that way, as we conclude our two-episode look at the last chapter in Unfinished Tales on the Palantiri. This also marks the end of my time with Sean here in Season 10, and Season 10 itself, with our time in Unfinished Tales coming to a close. Hmm. The tails might not be finished, but I guess we're just about finished with them.
That's very leaf by niggle. We're not done with it, but they're done with us. They're done with us. Exactly. But folks, no matter whether you came to Middle Earth through the books, the films, the TV show, or something else, each one of you is welcome here in our common room. The Prancing Pony Podcast continues in our 10th season of reading and talking our way through Middle Earth with conversations, digressions, and even speculations.
Not to mention the occasional pun or bad joke here and there, but our purpose is always different. I was going to say bonus in both of those categories when you're on the show. Our purpose, though, folks, is always to dive deep into the lore, to talk about the story, our favorite characters and themes, Tolkien's inspirations, and a whole lot more.
That's right. And while we take the work seriously, the same cannot be said about ourselves. We are just a couple of old friends chatting at the pub, and we are glad you've joined us. And I'm sure you'll be glad you joined as well. But before we get to today's chapter discussion, well, it's time for me to sit down with...
