Now, it is important to note that wartime reporting is notoriously difficult to verify, and much of this information comes from Russian military bloggers, telegram channels, Ukrainian sources, and battlefield reporting, rather than independently verified official accounts. But what makes this story remarkable is that many of the harshest accusations are coming from Russia's own pro-war nationalist community, people who are typically supportive of the Kremlin and the war effort and Putin.
So, let's talk about Kupyansk. Why does this small city in Ukraine even matter? At first glance, it's not a very large place, but strategically, it occupies a key logistical position in eastern Ukraine.
