love mommy issues. It's been a real summer of mommy issues, honestly.
Representation matters, but daddy issues are back, stronger than ever.

We're gonna talk about this episode of television. We are that's something we do on this show. We have a couple special segments because the New York Times is doing their top one hundred TV shows of the century so far uh list. They're only up through what, like sixty one right now has been released, I think. I believe

Um so the full list is not out yet. We have done our own top tens. We have agonized over it.

Really bad. Whose idea was this? It was mine. And later on in the episode, we're gonna try to guess each other's top 10 is sort of the the idea of what we're doing.

Yeah. I I'm becoming increasingly emboldened by my ability to guess at least a good chunk of your top 10. But I'm gonna I'm not gonna lie. The exercise is so hard, some of them are mystifying to me.
Um and then at the very, very end, because Spoilers for this episode of Slow Horses, I guess, for this season, even though we already mentioned. Um Return of one of our favorite characters. I'm talking about Roddy Ho's condom drawer is back on the show. But also Olivia Cook is here. The one and all Sid is here. So at the very, very end, just because it's sort of a section ripe with spoilers for all of television, we thought we would celebrate some of the great returns of characters to T V shows after a time. And there
are a great many. Yeah. Yeah, there's
there was a real error. Like going through it, I was like, Oh, this was a real thing for a while. I expected to s find like a broader swath of it. Very good. But I feel like there was really a constant you know, because you have to have a show where there are a bunch of seasons.
Yeah.
So that a return feels sort of significant. And a
big enough ensemble where the show will continue without them. So it's it is kind of a delicate balance, but the a lot of shows were trying to pull off this kind of thing. Yeah. Few of them though delighted me as much as seeing Olivia Cook, even for this brief glance we get at the end of this episode.
In terms of like returning lines, how did how did this one hit for you?
What else was she gonna say?
I guess.
Now, why is she at Rivers grandfather's house? You know, I guess I guess we're gonna find out. This is, you know, not to get too deep into it already. My only real complaint about this episode, had a perfectly nice time. I'm just feeling a little impatient and I'm ready to get the gang together. And they're you know, they're making us wait at least one more episode, which is fair play, but I'm eager to see where we're going.

Well, you already know I wanted Louisa back last series. Okay. You know, six full episodes ago dip dipping into last series.
Louisa mentioned but not uh with the gang. Do you need everyone back together or you just need like, okay, sits here, get Louisa on the screen, then we're cooking with Gag.
I think we're mostly there. I mean, the list at that point of alive slow horses that we know about is not that long.
